Reporting to the Dean of Student Life (DSL), the <b>Lead Youth Support Specialist</b> will be responsible for supporting youth and staff with crisis intervention and behavior management.</div>

The After All Arts &amp; Crafts Specialist will report to the Director of After School Programs &amp; Special Initiatives.</p><p><b>After All at Harlem Link</b></p><p>Under the umbrella of our After All program, we offer a variety of after school options to ensure our students have a fun, safe and enriching space in the afternoons. These activities are offered as an extension of the school day, and include options for personalized tutoring, STEAM hands-on learning, Dance, Music, Drama &amp; Theater, Arts &amp; Crafts, Junior Master Chef and Fitness &amp; Movement. For the 2024-25 school year, Harlem Link is excited to expand its on-site program to offer a greater number of daily academic and club activities for our Pre-K - 5th Grade at no cost to families.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><p>Design age-appropriate Arts &amp; Crafts lessons and activities that align with school standards and goals.</p><p>Develop and implement a range of age-appropriate arts and crafts activities that integrate pottery, 3D printing, a hot press machine, among others to encourage creativity and skill development.</p><p>Collaborate with other after-school program staff to integrate arts and crafts into the broader curriculum, possibly aligning with themed projects or seasonal events</p><p>Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.</p><p>Manage student behavior in a positive and supportive way, helping them to stay focused and engaged in activities.</p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p>All candidates must be:</p><p>At least 1-2 years experience with youth, working in afterschool, DOE, camp, or charter school role</p><p>Must have experience teaching Arts &amp; Crafts in a school setting</p><p>Must be able to engage in crisis-intervention activities and demonstrate, lead, and teach a range of group activities</p><p>Must have a commitment to work from a strength based and/or youth development perspective</p><p>Ideal candidates are:</p><p>Welcoming of collaboration across families, school staff, vendors, and community;</p><p>Creative thinkers who take a solutions approach to school and family challenges;</p><p>Self-motivated learners who are outcomes-oriented and develop professional metrics of success.</p><p>Timeframe and Compensation</p><p>The Arts &amp; Crafts Specialist is a Part-Time school-year position, working at our campus 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, between 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM. URI also develops permanent affordable and supportive housing, advancing long-term pathways to safety, healing, and stability for families and communities.</p>

Innovative Urban Village, opening in Summer 2026, is Urban Resource Institute&rsquo;s first Supportive Housing program in partnership with Christian Cultural Center and is a comprehensive redevelopment project located in East New York, Brooklyn. Phase 1A includes 376 income-based rental residences, of which 94 units are dedicated to families who have experienced homelessness as a result of domestic violence and who qualify for Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI) services. The program provides permanent supportive housing and trauma-informed, culturally competent services designed to promote long-term housing stability and independent living. As URI&rsquo;s first Supportive Housing program, Innovative Urban Village represents a foundational expansion of the agency&rsquo;s housing continuum, requiring the development of a comprehensive program model, policies, procedures, and service framework from inception through full implementation.</p>

POSITION OVERVIEW
</b></p><p>The Director, Clinical Services provides strategic clinical leadership and oversight for all behavioral health and trauma informed services within the Innovative Urban Village supportive housing program. The Director conducts clinical assessments, ensures appropriate interventions, and provides clinical supervision to Case Managers through case analysis, service planning, and structured supervision.</p>
<p>
The Director, Clinical Services collaborates closely with Case Managers, Housing Specialists, the Economic Empowerment Specialist, Operations leadership, and external clinical partners to ensure services reflect best practices in supportive housing, domestic violence recovery, and family stabilization. This role ensures full alignment with ESSHI requirements, OTDA regulations, and URI&rsquo;s trauma informed, culturally responsive service philosophy.</p>

Clinical Leadership &amp; Service Delivery</b></p>
