The Morgan Library & Museum

<div>The Morgan Library &amp; Museum welcomes applications for its 2026 paid summer internship program.
The program will provide an introduction to the variety of career opportunities available in museums
and special collection libraries. Each intern will be assigned to a department relevant to their interest
and work with departmental staff on timely topics in that area. Interns will also have the opportunity to
learn about the Morgan, and the museum and special collection fields more generally, through
professional development opportunities such as facility tours and meetings with museum leadership.
The Morgan especially seeks to provide opportunities to candidates with experiences and perspectives
that have not been adequately reflected in the museum and special collection libraries fields.
Internships are available in several areas. Please note that this application pertains only to the internship
described below, not to the program overall. Detailed application instructions are provided below.
Position Description:
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in Imaging and Rights. The department
provides access to the Morgan&rsquo;s rare collections via digital surrogates and clears rights and permissions
for various uses. The successful candidate will assist with an inventory of analogue image assets and
paper files, in addition to assisting with preparing images for use in Morgan publications and exhibition-
related projects such as press and publicity, audio guides, and Morgan Shop uses, organizing images and
tracking spreadsheets, assisting with print color proofing, and maintaining image and copyright credits.
The intern will also update descriptive metadata in image files and will ingest these prepared image files
into the Morgan digital asset management system (DAM). This requires accessing databases,
embedding metadata into image files, and, after DAM ingest, reviewing, revising, and correcting data
when necessary.
Eligibility:<ul><li>
 Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student</li><li>
 Strong interest in a career in the museum or library field</li><li>
 Eligibility to work in the United States; international candidates must be eligible to participate in a paid internship program in the United States</li><li>

 The Summer 2026 Investigator Internship Program begins on May 28, 2026, and runs until August 6, 2026. The internship is an unpaid, full-time, in-person, intensive, hands-on program.

 Interns carry their own caseloads and partner up with other interns for field investigations throughout New York City. The internship begins with mandatory training in Criminal Defenses, Interviewing Techniques, Constitutional Law, Ethics for Investigations, Memorializing Interviews, Social Media Research, Discovery Reform, Investigative Techniques, and more. These positions require considerable initiative, resourcefulness, creativity, drive, and a strong commitment to criminal defense work.

Our kW Mission Critical team seeking a Full Time Electrical Engineering Intern - Summer 2026 to work out of our New York, NY office. This temporary position is seeking individuals currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate program.
This internship will be part of the WSP Summer Internship Program. As a summer intern, you have the opportunity to participate in our 12-week program scheduled to start on May 18th, 2026. The individual start date of the internship may be flexible.

<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Your Impact
</h2><ul><li>Works with the guidance from senior engineers to perform a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard engineering and design techniques.
</li><li>Work with multi-discipline project teams to develop drawing and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors and building owners.
</li><li>Support a variety of engineering tasks with the goal to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
</li><li>Learn basic principles of Electrical Engineering.
</li><li>Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
</li><li>Design of electric distribution systems.
</li><li>Design of lighting and lighting control systems.
</li><li>Scheduling and selecting of electrical components and equipment.
</li><li>Perform electrical load, short circuit and voltage drop calculations.
</li><li>Construction administration.
</li><li>Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
</li><li>Complete training on assigned tasks.
</li><li>Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP&rsquo;s Code of Conduct and related policies and
</li><li>procedures.
</li><li>Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

</h2>Required Qualifications
<ul><li>Actively enrolled in an accredited Electrical Engineering, or related, Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2025 or later.
</li><li>Must be 18 or older.
</li><li>Demonstrated interest in Electrical Engineering or related field and have a strong desire to advance skills related to WSP&rsquo;s work and projects.
</li><li>Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience.
</li><li>Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects.
</li><li>Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools.
</li><li>Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP&rsquo;s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
</li><li>Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.

Expected Salary: $24.76-$32.22 per hour
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant&rsquo;s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
