The Instructional Designer will maintain a list of faculty members and the asynchronous online courses they teach, ensuring these courses are kept current by assisting faculty with necessary updates. The Instructional Designer is responsible for ensuring that courses are copied before the start of each semester and that the courses adhere to the Touro standards for asynchronous online courses. This role requires a collaborative spirit and the ability to pivot based on constructive feedback to ensure the best possible learner experience.</div>
Responsibilities:

Partner with faculty to develop high-quality asynchronous courses that align with institutional goals and learning outcomes</li><li>
Create engaging instructional materials, including multimedia content, assessments, and interactive activities</li><li>
Stay informed about emerging instructional technologies and their application in online education</li><li>
Provide detailed feedback to faculty on course design and content to ensure alignment with best practices and standards</li><li>

Work closely with faculty to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to course design and online teaching</li><li>

Assist faculty in designing, creating, and integrating videos and multimedia elements into their courses</li><li>
Serve as a resource for faculty to implement engaging and effective teaching strategies in their courses</li><li>
Assist Senior Instructional Designers on projects as needed, contributing to collaborative efforts and gaining exposure to high-profile initiatives</li></ul><div><b>

Qualifications:

BS/BA required (Degree in Education or a core academic discipline preferred); MA required in Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, Learning Science (Andragogy), or Education required; MEd is preferred.</li><li>
3 to 5 years of post-college work experience in education or a related field.</li><li>
