<div><p>The Morgan Library &amp; Museum welcomes applications for its 2026 paid summer internship program.</p><p>
The program will provide an introduction to the variety of career opportunities available in museums</p><p>
and special collection libraries. Each intern will be assigned to a department relevant to their interest</p><p>
and work with departmental staff on timely topics in that area. Interns will also have the opportunity to</p><p>
learn about the Morgan, and the museum and special collection fields more generally, through</p><p>
professional development opportunities such as facility tours and meetings with museum leadership.</p><p>
The Morgan especially seeks to provide opportunities to candidates with experiences and perspectives</p><p>
that have not been adequately reflected in the museum and special collection libraries fields.</p><p>
Internships are available in several areas. Please note that this application pertains only to the internship</p><p>

Position Description:</b></p><p>
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in Imaging and Rights. The department</p><p>
provides access to the Morgan&rsquo;s rare collections via digital surrogates and clears rights and permissions</p><p>
for various uses. The successful candidate will assist with an inventory of analogue image assets and</p><p>
paper files, in addition to assisting with preparing images for use in Morgan publications and exhibition-</p><p>
related projects such as press and publicity, audio guides, and Morgan Shop uses, organizing images and</p><p>
tracking spreadsheets, assisting with print color proofing, and maintaining image and copyright credits.</p><p>
The intern will also update descriptive metadata in image files and will ingest these prepared image files</p><p>
into the Morgan digital asset management system (DAM). This requires accessing databases,</p><p>
embedding metadata into image files, and, after DAM ingest, reviewing, revising, and correcting data</p><p>
when necessary.</p><p><b>

The Youth Mentoring Program (YMP) is a unique employment and professional development program for the high school age children of eligible 1199SEIU members. It is the aim of the program to expose youth to the many opportunities available in the health care professions and encourage them to pursue the educational paths that will lead to employment in the field. The program supports youth in developing life skills, such as financial literacy, decision making, goal setting, social emotional learning concepts, and time management.</p><p>
Prior to the start of the summer work experience, Site Supervisors participate in pre-program staff development activities. These activities include required program meetings and staff trainings.</p><p><b>
 Working Schedule</b>:</p><ul><li><b>Saturday&rsquo;s (June 6th and June 20th) &ndash; Required in-person trainings</b></li><li><b>The summer schedule - Monday, July 6, 2025, through Thursday, August 13, 2026, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm &ndash; at assigned hospital or nursing home.</b></li><li><b>Staff are required to be available for the entire 6-week summer program.</b></li></ul><p><br>
The Site Supervisor is responsible for providing daily supervision, guidance, and instruction to an assigned group of participants. The Summer Internship Program will build a foundation for early career talent and form future professionals at the organization. The internship program at TelevisaUnivision allows participants to obtain real on the job experiences in their areas of interest and specialty. This experience will expose interns to the broader business and understand how the areas operate and collaborate cross functionally.</div><div>

Hours: 40 hours a week</div><div>

YOUR DAY TO DAY:<br>
<ul><li>Responsible for uncovering trends and insights within the influencer industry. This includes staying up to date with the latest social media platforms, influencer marketing strategies, and consumer behaviors.</li><li>Sourcing talent</li><li>Vetting content for brand safety issues and assisting with special projects.</li><li>Scope to create content for our department handle @univisioncreatornetwork</li><li>There will be a group innovation project assigned to all interns at the beginning of the program where you will be working cross functionally and present the ideas at the end of the program to an executive committee.</li></ul></div><div><br>
YOU HAVE:<br>
<ul><li>Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited college or university</li><li>Must be a rising senior or recent May 2026 graduate</li><li>Overall GPA minimum 3.0 or above.</li><li>Proficient Microsoft Suite skills required</li><li>Results oriented and attention to details</li><li>Ability to work in a team setting as well as independently with minimal supervision</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred</li><li>Must have unlimited work authorization in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.</li></ul></div><div></div><div><br>
