Problem solver to include making decisions that involve other departments or bank customers.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist manager in supervision of loan processing staff and ensure daily work is accurate and complete.</li><li>Ensure staff follows policy and procedures when processing loan requests.</li><li>Oversee timely reporting: property taxes, loan fees, etc. and proper distribution of same (board, lenders, etc.)</li><li>In conjunction with Senior/Lead Processor, review and verify all exception reporting, ensuring all documents requiring recording are tracked properly, received, and processed.</li><li>Act as secondary liaison to the Internal/External Auditors and Compliance Officer, to include bank attorney loan issues.</li><li>Review and approve funding requests, reconciliations, checks, and other items requiring management approval.</li><li>Ensure escrow re-analysis and payments are performed in a timely manner.</li><li>Ensure Participation loan payments and audits are properly performed and applied.</li><li>Work with Loan Operations Manager and Compliance as needed to maintain updated procedures.</li><li>Distribute reports to lending staff to include Maturing Loans and Letters of Credit.</li><li>Review loan service invoices for all non-customer loans prior to forwarding to manager for approval.</li><li>Work closely with manager with problem loans, charge offs, non-accrual loans, repossessions and Other Real Estate Owned, Letters of Credit</li><li>Counsel staff as needed.</li></ul>Other Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Be involved with system providers to utilize applications to fullest capacity, streamlining processes and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance. Analyze, prepare, train for periodic updates to system software and verify updates are working properly.</li><li>Maintain and demonstrate proficiency with loan software (LaserPro/JH).</li><li>COPE program coordinator</li><li>Maintain confidentiality with all information obtained.</li><li>Perform other related work and duties as assigned.</li></ul>Job Requirements:Education and Experience:<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent required.
