The Phase I Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)</b> is comprised of two physical units on floors immediately above and below one another in the brand new Verstandig Pavilion. Each space contains 24 recovery bays, which support 31 operating rooms. The PACU Nurses care for adult and pediatric patients who have undergone a broad range of surgical procedures, with acuity ranging from Ambulatory to Critical Care.
