Job Summary</b></h2>

Complies lists of customers for use as sales leads. Solicits orders or talks with customers to complete sales. Quotes prices and terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained. Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of company&rsquo;s delivery schedules. Moves cargo up to 70lbs. Comply with WFS site security procedures for assigned warehouse and other operations. <b>Job responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from trucks.</li><li>
Check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo.</li><li>
Issue appropriate warehouse receipt or collect signed copy of delivery receipt.</li><li>
Ensure that cargo has a proper release issued by office personnel controlling the cargo before cargo is delivered to consignee or agent.</li><li>
Operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets and pallet jacks.</li><li>
Break down cargo from import flights, sort as required, check freight against manifest and store in proper manner and location in warehouse.</li><li>
Build up cargo for export flights, following instructions of supervisor or person directing the buildup of the freight.</li><li>
Keep inventory of on hand freight, warehouse supplies, airline equipment and containers.</li><li>
Maintain security of the cargo and company&rsquo;s equipment. Observe that cargo has not been tampered with or that pilferage has taken place. Report incidents to supervisor as needed.</li><li>
Maintain work area in clean condition, reporting damaged or broken equipment as needed.</li><li>
Accept related assignments from lead agents, supervisors or management.</li></ul><ul><li>
Complete paperwork and forms connected with work assignments pertaining to procedures and enter data into company's information system as required.</li><li>
Follow company procedures and protocols to ensure we are always operating in a safe and responsible manner.</li><li>
Complete all training when required by company, airport governing authority, or customer when required.</li><li>
Be on time, be prepared, and be safe. Be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>

This job requires physical stamina and strength &ndash; Warehouse Agents must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items 70 pounds (32 kg) or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift items weighing 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.</li><li>
Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.</li><li>
Must be able to be alerted to moving vehicles and use radio equipment to communicate with crew and airport authorities.</li><li>
Must be able to work around machinery noises.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities</b></p><ul><li><b>
Good Communication Skills</b>: Warehouse Agents must be able to communicate information and instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment effectively in a professional manner with the flight crew, gate agents, and other ground crew to coordinate the movement and handling of trucks, equipment, and cargo.</li><li><b>
Basic math skills: </b>Warehouse Agents may be required to calculate piece count, weight and dimensions.</li><li><b>
Computer skills: </b>Warehouse Agents may be required to use computer systems to track cargo.</li><li><b>
Problem-solving skills: </b>Warehouse Agents may be called upon to troubleshoot issues during loading and unloading.</li><li><b>
Time management skills: </b>Warehouse Agents must be able to manage their time effectively to complete tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment<b>.</b></li></ul><p><b><br>
Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
Be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma, GED, or work experience equivalent.</li><li>
Possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record.</li><li>
If work location is in the United States, must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. If work location is in Canada, must have authorization to work in Canada as defined by the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) of 2001.</li><li>
Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security.</li><li>
If required by customer or role access, be able to secure a Customs Seal through the respective governing agency.</li><li>
Preferred Qualifications - One+ year of relevant experience.</li></ul><p></p><p>
