Design and develop scalable backend services using Python. Build and maintain REST APIs supporting enterprise applications. Design and optimize Elasticsearch indexes, queries, mappings, and search relevance.
Develop intelligent search and matching capabilities for large-scale datasets. Build event-driven architectures using Kafka and Azure Event Hub. Design high-throughput data ingestion and indexing pipelines. Integrate applications with Databricks and enterprise data platforms.
Develop secure cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Monitor application health, logging, observability, and production performance. Optimize API response time, indexing performance, and infrastructure utilization. Participate in architecture, design reviews, code reviews, and production support.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, data scientists, and engineering teams.
Educational Qualifications: -
Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc.

Summary:
The IT Architect II is responsible for design of IT systems including system infrastructure, system security, application architecture, software and data life cycle management. Provides enterprise architectural framework for the design, development, and deployment of information/business systems. Proactively drives the prioritization of key technology enablers for achieving enterprise level system objectives while ensuring scalability, reliability, and availability of implemented systems. Provides leadership and expertise to evaluate planned platform growth, increasingly demanding enterprise service level requirements in order to identify, design, and implement technology solutions that exceed expectations. 
 
This role requires excellent collaboration and communication skills to translate complex requirements into functional architecture. 
Responsibilities:

The role will be responsible for providing technical expertise for solution design for medium to complex data work efforts, hands-on development, code reviews and QA for the current state BMG Data Warehouse platform. The role may also include work related to the Target State Cloud Platform Strategy, Roadmap, and Migration activities.
