The Director of Creative Operations leads the systems, workflows, and tools that enable impactful storytelling at scale. This role manages a team of operations specialists, asset managers, and business affairs staff while partnering closely with Project Management, Marketing Operations, Strategy, and Growth teams.
A strategist and people leader, this role ensures priorities, resources, and timelines are aligned across departments. The Director oversees budgets, tools, and rights compliance while championing automation, integration, and continuous improvement. As a steward of volunteer and community storytelling, this leader ensures ethical use of voices and content that amplify ACS&rsquo;s mission.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS<ul><li>
Lead and develop the Creative Operations team (operations specialists, asset managers, business affairs) by setting priorities, fostering accountabiality, and coaching for growth. 25%</li><li>
Design and optimize workflows &mdash; streamline intake, approvals, resourcing, and delivery pipelines with a focus on automation, scalability, and SLA-driven efficiency. 20%</li><li>
Align resources and priorities &mdash; partner with Project Management and Marketing Operations to integrate creative operations into campaign execution and capacity planning. 15%</li><li>
Oversee business affairs and rights management &mdash; contracts, licensing, IP, and volunteer/community release compliance. 10%</li><li>
Implement and manage creative technology platforms (proofing, MAM/DAM integrations, Monday.com, automation, AI tools) to improve visibility, version control, and workflow efficiency. 10%</li><li>
Build team capacity and future skills &mdash; develop evolving Creative Ops roles (DesignOps, MediaOps, CreativeOps), support training, and strengthen retention. 10%</li><li>
Safeguard mission storytelling &mdash; ensure volunteer and community stories are ethically sourced, attributed, and leveraged responsibly. 5%</li><li>
Track and report on operational performance metrics (throughput, cycle time, SLA compliance, capacity utilization, error rates), using insights for continuous improvement. 5%</li></ul>
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>
10+ years of progressive experience in creative/marketing operations or related fields within agency, in-house, or nonprofit settings.</li><li>
Proven success leading teams (remote or hybrid), including performance management, coaching, and professional development.</li><li>
Strong record of workflow optimization and operational excellence (intake, approvals, capacity planning, fulfillment).</li><li>
Hands-on experience with creative technology platforms (Workfront, Monday.com, Asana, DAMs/MAMs, workflow automation).</li><li>
Experience in rights management (contracts, licensing, IP, release compliance).</li><li>
Budget management experience including forecasting, vendor management, and tool investments.</li><li>
Familiarity with AI and data-driven insights to enhance efficiency and scale.</li><li>
Change management expertise in leading teams through new tools, workflows, and transformations.</li></ul>

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
This position is performed in a remote/home office environment.</li><li>
Requires prolonged periods of sitting, computer use, and video conferencing.</li><li>
Must have access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace to support virtual collaboration.</li><li>
Occasional light lifting (up to 15 lbs.) may be required for transporting materials during business travel or events.</li><li>
No significant exposure to physical risk or hazardous conditions.</li></ul>
The starting rate is $120,000 to $140,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.

Role Overview:
The Sales Operations Specialist plays a vital role within the Sales Strategy &amp; Operations team, supporting the success of Safe-Guard&rsquo;s field sales organization through operational excellence, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
This role supports the full lifecycle of sales operations, from recruiting and onboarding to performance tracking, fleet coordination, and career development. The Specialist works closely with Sales Leaders, Talent Acquisition, HR, and internal business partners to streamline systems, manage data, and ensure the sales team is equipped for performance and growth.
Reporting to the Sales Strategy Operations Manager, this position contributes to sales planning, forecasting, territory alignment, and the development of performance insights that guide strategic decisions.
Role Responsibilities:
Sales Operations Support<ul><li>
Partner with Sales Leaders, Talent Acquisition, and HR to manage recruiting, onboarding, internal transfers, and offboarding for sales team members.</li><li>
Coordinate onboarding logistics including system access, training schedules, and fleet vehicle assignments.</li><li>
Support data accuracy, reporting, and forecasting to ensure alignment between sales activities and business goals.</li></ul>
Fleet Management<ul><li>
Track vehicle assignments, mileage, and maintenance schedules in partnership with Enterprise Fleet Management.</li><li>
Coordinate vehicle purchases, replacements, and sales; serve as the main point of contact for fleet inquiries.</li></ul>
Process Optimization &amp; Documentation<ul><li>
Develop, document, and standardize key sales processes to drive consistency, scalability, and efficiency.</li><li>
Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend data-driven solutions to enhance productivity.</li><li>
Promote adoption of sales tools, systems, and best practices across the organization.</li></ul>
Data &amp; Systems Management<ul><li>
Collaborate with the CRM and IT teams to maintain data integrity across Salesforce and other sales systems.</li><li>
Develop and maintain recurring and ad-hoc reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as pipeline health, sales cycle time, and conversion metrics.</li><li>
Analyze data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic decisions.</li></ul>
Sales Performance &amp; Enablement<ul><li>
Support territory planning, quota setting, and forecasting activities.</li><li>
Help build frameworks to assess individual readiness, development needs, and career progression.</li><li>
Partner with Training and Sales Leadership to design and deliver effective onboarding and development programs.</li></ul>
Compensation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>
Collaborate with Finance to support bonus calculations and pay plan administration.</li><li>
Assist in documenting and communicating sales compensation plans and performance standards.</li><li>
Provide insights and dashboards that help leadership monitor and optimize sales performance.</li></ul>
Cross-Functional Collaboration<ul><li>

Support implementation of strategic projects related to growth, forecasting, and capacity planning.</li></ul> 
Job Requirements:
Experience &amp; Education<ul><li>
3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Business Analysis, or a related discipline</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (preferred)</li><li>
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Power BI</li><li>
Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights</li><li>
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
