What You'll Do:</b></p><ul><li>
Own the month-end and year-end close process, including timelines, coordination, and quality of deliverables</li><li>
Manage day-to-day accounting operations across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.</li><li>
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and account analyses.</li><li>
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.</li><li>
Execute and maintain internal controls, identifying and addressing process gaps.</li><li>
Lead the execution of external audits, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and coordination with auditors.</li><li>
Research and apply accounting guidance (including ACS 350 and 842), escalating complex or judgmental matters.</li><li>
Directly manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team.</li><li>
Partner cross-functionally with FP&amp;A and business leaders.</li><li>

Requirements:

Work with ophthalmologists to assist during eye surgery and setting up and performing maintenance on equipment. In addition, ophthalmology technologists often perform diagnostic testing, including measuring a patient's vision. Technologists in this career field must be familiar with ophthalmic pharmacology and understand the use of corrective lenses.</p><p><b>
Essential Functions:</b></p><ul><li>
Meets with patients to discuss ocular medical history, chief complaint, current medications, allergies and family history to prepare the patient for the physician</li><li>
Performs initial work up including visual testing, color vision testing, retinoscopy, and refraction for the physician to review and consider during visit</li><li>
Performs various diagnostic tests and measurements including A-Scans, diagnostic ultrasounds, keratometry, lensometry, tonometry, and visual fields to support the physician's review</li><li>
Reviews patient records for completeness to allow for a timely and efficient patient visit</li><li>
Maintains supplies and equipment in examining rooms to allow for adequate patient care</li><li>
Completes in basket messages to allow for timely communication to patients and providers</li><li>
Maintains overall patient experience and safety, following all emergency clinical policies and protocols, to allow for optimal experience of care</li></ul><div>
