1. Lead network-wide paid marketing strategy and digital optimization plan. Execute and continuously optimize paid digital campaigns to drive enrollment and community awareness across the Early Learning Network and Start Early&rsquo;s directly operated programs (Educare Chicago, Healthy Parents &amp; Babies, Lake County Early Learning Centers), including social advertising, search and exploratory digital channels. Summary/Objective

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) contributes and supports the planning and execution of Projects. The APM supports Project Managers in the planning, management, project completion and financial outcome of assigned Projects. The APM should be able to manage day-to-day Project activities, identify and ensure prompt resolution of issues, and work together with the Project Team to ensure the Work is proceeding on schedule, within budget and according to contract requirements and specifications. Evans General Contractors, LLC is looking to hire a traveling APM that will report to the Alpharetta, GA office. The initial assignment is based in Chicago, IL.

Duties and Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Manage day-to-day Project activities under supervision of the Project Manager</li>
<li>Perform tasks such as preparing invoices, estimates, scheduling meetings, etc.</li>
<li>Keep track of and report on project progress</li>
<li>Assists in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports detailing the status of the Project</li>
<li>Assist in the development of cost estimates of assigned Projects</li>
<li>Solicit and obtain bids from subcontractors and material suppliers</li>
<li>Support efforts to expedite prompt processing of invoices and prompt payment through to subcontractor for amounts due</li>
<li>Assist in the preparation of change proposals, negotiate, execute and/or issue change orders to subcontractors and prepare revisions to the master cost breakdown as a result of change orders and management revisions</li>
<li>Assistant Project Managers may be assigned to work on-site at the Project(s)</li>
<li>Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with the supervision and managing of field activities</li>
<li>Communicate with Superintendent and Project Manager about delays and other issues that must be communicated to Owner</li>
<li>Maintain good relationships with the Owner, Architect, Engineers, Subcontractors and Suppliers involved with the project</li>
<li>Assist with preparing the job start-up and close-out checklists</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>

Requirements 
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science or Civil Engineering</li>
<li>Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in commercial construction industry</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships</li>
<li>Self-starter with a high degree of personal responsibility and integrity</li>
<li>Must be able to work in a field construction environment which includes walking in rough terrain</li>
<li>Ability to work in adverse weather conditions</li>
<li>Ability to travel long distances, depending on assigned project(s) location</li>
<li>Ability to work more than 40 hours a week and weekend assignments</li>
