Translate Avalon&rsquo;s growth and new business strategy into a focused, prioritized marketing roadmap that drives visibility and results.</li><li>
Own and evolve our core marketing assets and messaging to ensure our brand, proof points, and story remain compelling and market-relevant.</li><li>
Own new business development by keeping marketing materials, proposals, and pitches polished, aligned, and pitch-ready.</li><li>
Lead proposal and pitch strategy and execution in partnership leadership, managing timelines, workflows, and deliverables end to end.</li><li>
Craft compelling, results-focused proposals that clearly and powerfully reflect Avalon&rsquo;s unique approach to nonprofit fundraising and donor engagement.</li><li>
Oversee outbound communications, thought leadership, and conference opportunities that elevate Avalon&rsquo;s profile and galvanize our brand recognition across our industry.</li><li>
Manage CRM tools, prospect pipelines, and lead generation efforts to keep potential clients engaged and informed.</li><li>

Requirements:

What We&rsquo;re Looking For
We&rsquo;re looking for a strategic, organized, and thoughtful marketing leader with a passion for mission-driven work. The ideal candidate will bring:<ul><li>
At least five (5) years of experience in marketing, communications, and project management, preferably in an agency or professional services environment.</li><li>
Demonstrated experience leading proposals and RFP responses.</li><li>
Prior experience marketing mission-driven work is preferred.</li><li>
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.</li><li>
Confidence managing multiple priorities and making smart trade-offs under tight deadlines.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, Monday.com), and marketing platforms such as HubSpot and WordPress (preferred).</li><li>

<div>Position Summary:
The Growth Content &amp; Communication Manager is the storyteller who bridges the gap between product value and market need. This role is responsible for developing a content strategy and creating compelling assets that fuel integrated campaigns, enable the sales team, and support event strategy&mdash;all while maintaining a consistent brand voice. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure content is on-brand and effectively drive growth.
The Growth Content &amp; Communication Manager is a full-time, remote, exempt position and reports to the Director, Growth Enablement. 
Base Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000 annually. 
Specific Responsibilities:
Integrated Content Strategy<ul><li>
Develop a content strategy and editorial calendar that directly supports integrated campaign themes, addresses buyer pain points, and aligns with SEO goals</li><li>
Develop a deep expertise in the CAQH product portfolio to serve as a subject matter expert for the marketing team on product capabilities, benefits, and use cases.</li></ul> 
Content Creation &amp; Cross-Functional Support<ul><li>
Oversee the creation of a wide range of demand-generation and sales-enablement assets, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, sales presentations, and video scripts.</li><li>
Partner with the Campaign Strategy Lead to develop core campaign messaging and key content offers for lead generation.</li><li>
Collaborate with the Event Strategy Lead to develop compelling event-specific content, presentations, and demo scripts.</li></ul> 
Sales Enablement<ul><li>
Work with Sales management to understand enablement needs and develop effective tools like battle cards, competitive briefs, and ROI calculators.</li><li>
Manage the sales enablement platform, ensuring content is easy to find, use, and share.</li></ul> 
Brand &amp; Message Stewardship<ul><li>
Ensure all product marketing content is on-brand, consistent in tone, and optimized for the CAQH website and user experience.</li><li>
Develop and maintain core product messaging documents that articulate key value propositions.</li></ul>
