Completed and opened in February 2021, Four Seasons Private Residences at 706 Mission Street, San Francisco combines spacious living and distinctive elegance with legendary Four Seasons personalized services.
About the Position
Operating from the amenities floor/Club Level, the Bartender will serve owners and their guests needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine, spirits, and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods. In addition, the Bartender is to service as a server as this person will be largely alone while serving the Bar/Lounge, Game Room, Private Dining Room, and Veranda. The Bartender responds to a wide variety of homeowner requests by accurately assessing the resident&rsquo;s needs and inquiries; offering personal recommendations and personalized touches to achieve maximum resident satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons&rsquo; policies.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Prepare and serve a selection of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes and established Four Seasons Standards.
</li><li>Confirm orders including any special needs or requests using the point-of-sales system; check completed orders with the original order.
</li><li>Serve and take orders from those seated at the bar area offering interesting and vivid descriptions of the each item&rsquo;s, origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain a working knowledge of liquors, wines, beers, ports, armagnacs, eau de vies, cognacs, and specialty drinks.
</li><li>Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to their concerns and requests.
</li><li>Properly and accurately close guest checks; process credit card payments; properly settle voided checks.
</li><li>Provide serving utensils for those who bring outside food into the Club Level as outside food is permitted and encouraged.
</li><li>Provide service for those in all areas of the Club Level (i.e. Bar/Lounge, Game Room, Private Dining Room and Veranda).
</li><li>Clear table/bar top of used dishes, glasses, and cutlery, clean within a dish/glass washer and restock.
</li><li>Assist with bar inventory.
</li><li>Cut fruit and prepare beverage garnishments.
</li><li>Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Assistant Director or Director of Residences.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
</h4>Customer Service

<li>Greet members and guests upon arrival to the Club.</li>
<li>Check members in by verifying their membership.</li>
<li>Ensure all guests to the Club fully complete a Guest Registration Waiver and pay any applicable Guest fees.</li>
<li>Book appointments, program, and class reservations for members and guests.</li>
<li>Provide information regarding Club programming and facilities.</li>
<li>Deliver exceptional service experience to members, guests, and Associates with a goal of retaining guests for repeat business.</li>
<li>Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response.
</li><li>Provide membership sales team with guest/prospect lead contact information.

<li>Act as a Host in the designated area or event space</li>
<li>Work with the F&amp;B team to offer food and drinks from designated food outlets: (act as server, place orders, delivery refreshments, ring in tickets on register, provide support to kitchen, set up and breakdown of event space, clean-up)</li>
<li>Offer seating, make members/guests comfortable and provide a tour of pool deck amenities.</li>
<li>Communicate and book appointments for programs and events.</li>
<li>Provide information regarding Club programming and facilities updates.</li>
<li>Assist with maintaining refreshment stations: Refill water, stock supplies and keep area clean.</li>
<li>Provide towels as needed, assist with towel operation.</li>
</ul>
Parking Garage Oversight (if applicable)
<ul>
<li>Warmly greeting each member with a smile.</li>
<li>Check members and guests in by verifying their membership.</li>
<li>When necessary, audit cars parked in garage.
</li><li>Perform any opening and/or closing duties, as required.</li>

Cleanliness
<ul>
<li>Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and stock levels throughout the Club (primarily focused on Sports Desk, Locker Rooms, Lobby, Fitness Areas, Pool Deck, and surrounding areas)</li>
</ul><ul><li>Detail cleaning and preventive maintenance responsibility such as re-stocking towel shelves, empty and wipe down trash cans, disinfect and clean toilets and showers, clean vanity mirrors and top lights, vacuum carpets, mop floors regularly, and dry mop wet areas.</li>
<li>Restock vanity supplies and replenish inventory and janitorial products.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, safe work environment.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Assist with laundry functions that include collecting, washing, drying, and folding towels.
</li></ul>Communication and Relationships
<ul>
<li>Communicate timely and follow up, as appropriate.</li>
<li>Active participation in required events, programs, meetings, and trainings.</li>
