The Sales Trainee Representative (STR) program is designed to build a strong pipeline of future sales and marketing professionals within the Medical Systems Group (MSG) by developing recent college graduates early in their careers.

STRs will officially report to the Regional Vice President (RVP) and will receive structured development and mentoring from the RVP, Executive Account Manager (EAM), and Executive Leadership Program (ELP) members. ELP members will serve as mentors to the trainees, gaining valuable coaching and leadership experience in the process. Collectively, this leadership team will provide the guidance, training, and support necessary for STRs to advance their sales and marketing careers at Olympus Corporation of the Americas. 


The STR program spans 18 months, during which trainees will receive hands-on development through the Sales Training Department and Field Sales Trainers. STRs will be assigned to a field-based territory and aligned with a specific regional sales team. The majority of training will take place in the field, working closely with the assigned EAM and RVP.

 Position Purpose
 
 
 
 The Manager, Pro Trade Credit &ndash; Trade Credit Services, leads the credit &amp; collections management for the Pro Trade Credit program. Focus is on developing and managing processes for the trade credit services team and customer support functions related to existing customer credit and collections management. This is including but not limited to, direct management of a credit operations team, development of credit underwriting and collection policies and processes, customer servicing functions, receivables management, development and adherence to compliance and reporting requirements, program operations and improvements, and loss mitigation and collections strategies. This role works cross functionally with internal and external partners (including Information Technology, Product Managers, Operations, Accounting, Compliance, third-party vendors, and others) to develop and implement a trade credit management functions and strategies that supports strategic initiatives.
 
 
 This role requires strong team management, deep understanding of commercial credit underwriting and collections processes, call center and customer service functions, and the ability to effectively communicate and influence partners to support and execute solutions.
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities

 20% - Collaboration - Work with Pro Operations, Accounting, and Controls to ensure program adherence to service and compliance/control related objectives.

 25% - Drives Results - Establish and assess financial and operational/quality results of collections and receivables management against predetermined goals. Determine appropriate team structures along with credit and collections strategies to achieve operationally established goals and objectives.
 </li>

 30% - Plans &amp; Aligns - Manage the credit and collections processes, strategy, and support functions related to the commercial Pro Trade Credit program.
 </li>

 25% - Strategic Mindset - Oversee the development and execution of underwriting and collections processes and performance. Utilize credit knowledge and people management skills to ensure proper program administration and support levels are met.
