In this role, you will:</p><ul><li>
Understand category trends, macro trends, purchase drivers, trip missions, shopper need states, etc. and liaise with Customer Development on opportunities and executional strategies across all channels including ecom.</li><li>
Participate and present in internal and external meetings as the credible Category expert, at times to large audiences.</li><li>
Translate complex metrics and analytics into valuable strategic insights and category stories for consumer dynamics driving category growth.</li><li>
Direct and perform proactive analysis across a wide variety of category business issues and data sources (e.g. shopper research, POS, panel, loyalty card, registry, omni, assortment tools, etc.) and make fact-based, actionable recommendations.</li><li>
Lead control store testing work with outside vendors and customer teams.</li><li>
Develop category vision strategy and shelving principles by channel to drive quality of shelf placement, optimal assortment, merchandising flows, adjacencies, and cross merchandising opportunities.</li><li>
Act as an expert and champion use of category tools and resources (assortment tools, growth driver tools, planogramming software, etc.).</li><li>
Collaborate with the Shopper Insights team to close research gaps in understanding shopper behavior and build growth roadmaps.</li><li>

</b></p><p>The Sourcing Manager position plays a vital role in the sourcing of materials required for the production of S&amp;C products. The Sourcing Manager oversees a portfolio of material suppliers and serves the needs of internal customers for the acquisition of industrial materials, components, and assemblies.
</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:
</b></p><ul><li>Partner with departmental leaders to implement a global sourcing strategy for the categories/commodities based on industry and market trends and conditions and continue to assess in the medium/long term (3-5 years) horizon.
</li><li>Support the Global Sourcing team in fulfilling the category management strategy, including determining appropriate suppliers, supporting contract negotiations, handling escalations from the Buyers, and other activities to deliver best-in-class service to stakeholders by reducing the overall cost, improving quality, and improving supplier on-time delivery.
</li><li>Experience in managing categories like wire harnesses, electronic component distributors, batteries, switches and relays and having deep understanding of the electronics market, semiconductor ecosystem and the entire component life cycle.
