Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Midwifery Division is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our team. Our practice has been here since the inception of the OB Department, which started in 1994. We strive to provide compassionate and comprehensive care to our clients that is culturally congruent and respectful to their individuality. MGH midwives provide antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, family planning and abortion care to the clients we serve.

We have a total of 21 midwives within our practice that speak a variety of languages such as Spanish, Haitian Creole, Russian and Czech. We provide full-scope midwifery care to clients at MGH Centers for Outpatient care including Yawkey, Danvers, and Waltham, as well as MGH Affiliated Health Centers in Chelsea and Revere. We also provide 24/7 coverage on labor and delivery and in our OB triage unit; manage the postpartum service; and run a thriving outpatient triage clinic.

The MGH OB/GYN Department is a level 4 maternity care center. The Obstetrics Program delivers 3,700 babies a year and the midwifery service attends about 700 of those births. We are a collaborative practice and work alongside Maternal Fetal Medicine Physicians, OB/GYN Specialists, Genetic Counselors, Ultrasound Technicians, Nurses, and Medical Assistants. As MGH is an academic teaching hospital, we value educating and teaching midwifery students, OB/GYN &amp; emergency medicine residents and medical students. Our midwives can become faculty appointed in Harvard Medical School.

We desire an experienced midwife with 3+ years of experience who can work in our inpatient and outpatient setting. This position is a 40-hour role with clinical administrative time. We are looking for a midwife who desires to work in a collaborative model, that is highly passionate in promoting and providing evidence-based midwifery care and teaching our future generations of providers. The MGB Cancer Institute is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Infusion Unit and ambulatory practices at Mass General Hospital in Boston, MA. The Infusion Unit APP Specialist will work in a recently developed role embedded within our adult infusion unit to serve as an infusion unit first responder, promote infusion services access and efficiency, provide oncology urgent care/symptom management and provide generalist coverage within our ambulatory solid tumor disease centers or hematologic malignancies programs for anticipated leaves and absences.

Join a large and supportive ambulatory oncology and infusion service line Advanced Practice Team in a role that specializes in the care of patients with a variety of medical oncology diagnoses. With an interdisciplinary team approach, this provider will promote a collaborative relationship between providers, professional nurses, research personnel and administrative staff, to provide safe, quality care in compliance with clinical trial protocols across the care continuum.

APP Responsibilities:

<ul><li>While on the adult infusion unit, the APP oversees the care of patients with hematologic and oncologic disorders, serves as a first responder for acute reactions and medical emergencies, partners with primary disease center providers to care for complex oncology patients awaiting hospital admission and collaborates with the Cancer Institute weekend first responder team to provide access for urgent evaluation and symptom management during off-hours.
</li><li>The NP/PA is also responsible for collaborative care of the patient with benign hematological disorders receiving care in the adult infusion unit.
</li><li>While in the cancer institute ambulatory practices the APP Specialist is responsible for the care of oncology patients in the outpatient setting, specializing in either solid tumor malignancies or hematologic malignancies in partnership with primary disease center APPs, physicians, practices nurses and administrative support team members.
</li><li>Flexibility in scheduling as this position may require weekend, holiday and evening coverage as well as variable weekday assignments.

Job Summary</b></p>
The MGH Department of Pharmacy is seeking a Transitions of Care/Boarders Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at the Main Campus. This position will be focused on collaborating with multidisciplinary team members to optimize care for Boarder patients (primarily medicine patients) residing in the Emergency Department and supervise pharmacy technicians/learners participating in the daily conduct of medication histories. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to lead, build, and expand future services to include all aspects of care transitions for patients, and optimize care for Boarder patients at our Main Campus. Clinical Pharmacists assume responsibility and accountability for the provision of safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy. Clinical Pharmacists proficiently provide direct patient-centered care and integrated pharmacy operational services with physicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel to deliver optimal medication therapy to patients with a broad range of disease states. These clinicians are aligned with target interdisciplinary programs and specialty services to deliver medication therapy management and to ensure pharmaceutical care programs are appropriately integrated throughout the institution. Pharmaceutical care services include, but are not limited to, assessing patient needs, incorporating age and disease specific characteristics into drug therapy and patient education, adjusting care according to patient response, and providing clinical interventions to detect, mitigate, and prevent medication adverse events. Clinical Pharmacists serve as a departmental resources and liaisons to other departments, hospital personnel, or external groups. They proficiently manage the appropriate use of medications according to professional and regulatory standards. They also conduct practice-related research and patient care, quality, and regulatory compliance initiatives designed to improve medication-use processes or pharmacy practice.
