The Claims Representative provides quality claim handling throughout the claim life cycle (customer contacts, coverage, investigation, evaluation, reserving, negotiation, and resolution) and maintains full compliance with internal and external quality standards and state-specific regulations.We are seeking an adjuster with at least two (2) years of experience who is familiar with reviewing repair estimates, claims software programs such as Xactimate and has strong working knowledge of HO3 and HO5 policies.Responsibilities Include:<ul><li>Handle first party property claims, as well as some liability claims, from moderate in severity to more complex as assigned</li><li>Accurately scope damages for building and contents losses and utilize as a basis for written estimates and/or computer assisted estimates</li><li>Complete residential and commercial field property inspections utilizing Xactimate software</li><li>Investigate, evaluate, and analyze relevant documents that affect damages, business interruption calculations and liability of first party property claims</li><li>Review applicable coverage forms and endorsements and provide a thorough analysis of coverage including any potential issues</li><li>Write detailed coverage, denial, reservation of rights letters and other complex correspondence</li><li>Ensure claims are thoroughly and accurately investigated, including obtaining statements and interviews from relevant parties and obtaining/interpreting official reports. Work with independent adjusters as necessary</li><li>Provide excellent customer service to policyholders. The Bodily Injury Claims Representative position is primarily responsible for the handling of bodily injury and associated property damage claims that result from an automobile accident.
