Performs a full range of supervisory functions including: assigning, directing, and reviewing the work of subordinate staff; administers leave and attendance; evaluates staff performance; recommends hiring, promotions, status changes, awards, disciplinary actions, and terminations; plans, schedules, and coordinates work operations to achieve the optimal combination of employees and assignments; addresses issues or problems related to work operations; negotiates and troubleshoots employee concerns, grievances, and other matters involved in the daily administration of labor-management concerns; provides coaching; guides immediate reports in the implementation of performance standards; addresses disciplinary problems; provides governance over staff development and training plans.</li><li>
Monitors and supports the Social Worker's court activities; attends court hearings, administrative reviews, and other meetings to provide information and guidance.</li><li>
Completes field- and community-based supervision and investigative tasks as needed, based on staffing availability and management circumstances that can arise based on the timing and circumstances of referrals. Work is primarily office-based but some tasks will require visiting the community.</li><li>
Attends professional meetings and seminars to keep abreast of most recent social work advances.</li><li>

Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>
Advanced knowledge of and ability to apply the principles and practices of social work to supervise social workers and/or provide direct social services to individuals and families.</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of related psychiatric, psychological, and medical practices used in the evaluation and treatment of children and families.</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of human behavior dynamics; demonstrable sensitivity to cultural diversity, age, and religious differences affecting child rearing, family and kinship patterns, attitudes about illness, medical care, and communication patterns to supervise social workers developing case plans, providing counseling, and conducting home visits and investigations.</li><li>

Duties:</b><p><br>
Serves as Executive/Administrative Assistant to political team, providing comprehensive executive and administrative support in a fast-paced environment. Independently manages executive operations, coordinates complex schedules and competing priorities. Exercises sound judgment, discretion, and diplomacy in handling sensitive and confidential matters while ensuring the efficient operation of the Immediate Office.</p><ul><li>
Provides comprehensive executive calendar management for the OCSPP Immediate Office (IO), including scheduling complex meetings, resolving conflicts, prioritizing requests, coordinating travel, and ensuring executives are prepared with briefing materials and meeting logistics. 40%</li><li>
Serves as the primary administrative liaison for the IO by coordinating with EPA leadership offices, program offices, regional offices, the Office of the Administrator, and external stakeholders. Screens requests, manages correspondence, and responds to inquiries requiring tact and discretion. 25%</li><li>
Coordinates executive meetings, briefings, and events by arranging conference rooms, audiovisual support, visitor access, security requirements, agendas, briefing materials, and protocol for internal and external participants. Greets and escorts visitors as appropriate. 20%</li><li>
Monitors action items, meeting requests, invitations, speaking engagements, and executive deliverables to ensure timely completion. 15%</li></ul><br>

<div><p>The Housing Specialist is an integral member of the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team, responsible for assisting individuals with serious mental illness in obtaining and maintaining safe, affordable, and stable housing in the community. This role emphasizes direct service, collaboration with landlords and housing providers, and integration of housing supports into individualized treatment plans. The Housing Specialist promotes recovery and independence through evidence-based supportive housing practices, ensuring that housing needs are addressed as part of the comprehensive ACT model.</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul><li>Assist clients in identifying, applying for, and securing permanent, independent housing aligned with client preferences.</li>
<li>Provide ongoing support to maintain housing, including landlord mediation, lease education, budgeting, and tenancy skill development.</li>
<li>Educate clients about their rights and responsibilities as tenants.</li>
<li>Support transitions between housing placements and prevent homelessness through proactive intervention.</li>
<li>Collaborate with ACT team members to ensure housing stability is integrated into recovery planning.</li>
<li>Participate in daily team meetings and treatment planning sessions to coordinate housing-related interventions with clinical and rehabilitative services.</li>
<li>Serve as a consultant to the team regarding housing issues, landlord engagement, and community housing resources.</li>
<li>Establish and maintain strong working relationships with local landlords, property managers, housing authorities, shelters, and supportive housing providers.</li>
<li>Identify community housing resources, rental assistance programs, and subsidies available to clients.</li>
<li>Advocate for clients with community agencies to expand housing opportunities for individuals with behavioral health challenges.</li>
<li>Maintain timely and accurate documentation of housing services within the electronic health record (EHR).</li>
<li>Track housing stability outcomes and contribute to fidelity monitoring, quality improvement, and reporting requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with DBH, Medicaid, and other regulatory standards regarding housing supports.</li>
<li>Provide individual and group training to clients in areas such as budgeting, home maintenance, communication with landlords, and navigating rental systems.</li>
<li>Deliver psychoeducation to clients and families about the role of stable housing in recovery.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.</li>
<li>Two (2) years of experience in housing case management, property management, supportive housing services, or related behavioral health settings.</li>
<li>Knowledge of evidence-based supportive housing models and familiarity with local housing resources, landlord/tenant laws, and rental assistance programs.</li>
<li>Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and complex social needs.</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation for community-based services</li>
<li>Strong communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Proficiency in EHR documentation and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace.</li>
