Respond to the &ldquo;knock on the door&rdquo; when walk-in visitors come to the rectory in person seeking assistance.

Attend Cathedral events/liturgies that staff are required to serve in.

Maintain periodically vigilance in the Cathedral for a safe environment.

Assist the Director of Social Justice in planning and participating in youth retreats.

Collaborate and support the Hispanic Ministry Coordinator when needed.

Expectations
The Social Justice Coordinator will be proficient in the use of standard office tools: computer, copy machine, fax, email, etc. He/She will demonstrate organizational skills, as well as an ability to relate well with a diversity of people: staff, volunteers, parishioners, and visitors.

He/She will be a person who possesses a general understanding of the social teachings of the Church and is committed to them; shows special concern for the poor, the homeless, immigrants, the vulnerable, and the marginalized.

Duties and Responsibilities
Perform duties in connection with the provision of a wide variety of especially complex social work services in the D.C. community. Plan, organize, develop and implements a comprehensive and intensive program of adult oriented and/or family-centered social work services for D.C. residents who are highly at risk of abuse, neglect, exploitation and self-neglect. Provide outreach social services directed towards helping individuals/families receive maximum benefits from social, medical, and legal services by counseling them, relatives, and significant others to help them accept, recognize and resolve social, environmental and emotional problems that interfere with treatment, recovery, and independent functioning. Social Services provided are also geared toward promoting understanding, positive feeling and attitudes concerning illness and resolution of adult abuse and related social problems.
Provide individual and family-centered social services engaging individuals/families in problem-solving to strengthen their capacities for coping more effectively with the health, social, financial, environmental, and emotional stresses that threaten their stability and functioning in their particular circumstances. Utilize differentially the professional social work methods of case work and the professional techniques of individual psycho-social assessment and interviewing, crisis intervention, time limited therapy, family therapy and consultation in work with clients, staff: and community. Initiate and coordinate community relations work by establishing outreach education programs with social service agencies, community groups, advocacy groups, and professional associations for the purpose of providing understanding related to adult abuse and its prevention and remediation and maintenance of dependent adults in the least restrictive environment.
Qualifications and Education
Degree: Social Work. Must fulfill all the requirements for the master's degree in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
Specialized Experience: Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, applicants must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade in the normal line of progression.
Licenses and Certifications
Must possess and maintain Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the District of Columbia as specified in the Health Occupation Revision Act of 1985, DC Law 6-99.

Working Conditions/Environment
Work is performed in an office setting, health service facility, institution or in client's homes throughout the entire City. The work environment involves risk with exposure to unpredictable situations where conditions cannot be controlled, such ac; the homes of clients and in high-risk or high crime areas. JOB SUMMARY: The Clinical Care Coordinator provides assessment of consumers&rsquo; functioning and leads development and documentation of individualized rehabilitation plans based on the Recovery Model for adults who have mental illnesses.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>
Provide services to consumers in accordance with the principles and practices of the ACT Fidelity Model.</li></ul>
 a. Lead the process of developing, updating, and guiding implementation of consumers&rsquo; Individual Recovery Plan (IRP), in collaboration with consumer, Team Leader and other significant parties of the ACT team.
 b. Coordinate treatment planning and discharge meetings at area hospitals to ensure a smooth transition to the community.
 c. Develop and maintain a professional and clinical relationship with area hospital staff to ensure a smooth transition for agency consumers to and from the hospital.
 d. Educate and assist consumers with learning or re-learning activities of daily living (ADL) skills necessary to improve the quality of life including acquisition of consumer health care benefits.
 e. Update Consumer&rsquo;s IRP, Functional Psychosocial Assessment (FPSA), Level of Care Utilization System (LOCUS), Global Appraisal of Individual Needs (GAINS) and Crisis Plan every 180 days.
 f. Provide an average of 4.25 hours of services per day to ACT consumers.

UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE</div><div>
The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of the regional marketing plan through hands-on coordination, content creation, and project management across key functions&mdash;conferences and events, partnerships, communications, publications, and digital marketing. The Marketing Coordinator translates strategic plans into action, ensuring that all marketing activities are executed effectively, tracked accurately, and aligned with regional and firmwide goals.</div><div> 

RESPONSIBILITIES</div><div>
Marketing Operations &amp; Execution</div><ul><li>
Manage logistics for marketing activities and events, including conference registrations, collateral, schedules, exhibitor coordination, and speaking proposals.</li><li>
Track and report on marketing activities, budgets, and ROI through HubSpot in partnership with the Marketing Lead.</li><li>
Manage contact lists, imports, and data accuracy in HubSpot; manage email distribution and reporting.</li><li>
Prepare and distribute pre- and post-event communications and social content in partnership with Corporate Marketing.</li></ul><div>
Conferences, Events, and Sponsorship</div><ul><li>
Coordinate conference and event logistics (booths, sponsorships, travel, materials, speaking submissions).</li><li>
Draft speaking proposals, manage deadlines, and support content preparation for presenters.</li><li>
Liaise with nonprofit associations and sector partners for sponsorship and partnership opportunities.</li><li>
Manage sponsorship logistics, including scheduling calls, tracking payments, and maintaining calendars.</li></ul><div>
Communications &amp; Content Support</div><ul><li>
Draft and distribute regional publications, email campaigns, and social media content.</li><li>
In collaboration with Department Lad, develop thought leadership materials, philanthropic landscapes, and market-specific resources.</li><li>
Collaborate with Business Development on tailored content for outreach and follow-up.</li><li>
Provide internal communication needs, including updates to the marketing resource library and reports.</li></ul><div>
Cross-Team Collaboration</div><ul><li>
Partner with Business Development to coordinate lead follow-up, event outreach, and conference attendee engagement.</li><li>
Support Business Development-led strategic outreach campaigns with marketing materials and distribution support.</li><li>
Work closely with Corporate Marketing and Field Marketers to ensure alignment with firmwide standards and campaigns.</li></ul><div>
Tracking, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement</div><ul><li>
Manage and update all relevant trackers and shared files to ensure real-time visibility of marketing activity.</li><li>
Track engagement metrics for events, sponsorships, and outreach, reporting results to Marketing Lead.</li><li>
Identify opportunities for process improvements, creative innovation, and efficiency within marketing workflows.</li></ul><div>

QUALIFICATIONS</div><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree or equivalent along with one to two years of relevant experience preferred (Nonprofits, Fundraising, Communications, Marketing)
</li><li>Exceptional communication, writing, and proofreading skills</li><li>
Creative presentation design experience
</li><li>Advanced skills researching nonprofit organizations, potential client leads, and key contacts
</li><li>Strong time management skills</li><li>
Ability to think strategically and see the big picture while also executing tasks in a detail-oriented manner</li><li>
Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint</li><li>
