<div>The Museum of Modern Art is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to be the technical owner of our data engineering team and the primary point of contact for departments and data analysts who rely on our data warehouse. This role guides and mentors the data engineers on technical standards and best practices, owns the relationship with stakeholders to make sure the data warehouse meets their needs, and serves as the resident expert on our data&mdash;how it is structured, how it relates, and how it should be used. Responsibilities:

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.</li>
<li>Minimum of four years of experience as a Data Engineer with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.</li>
<li>Ability to guide and mentor other engineers and influence technical direction.</li>
<li>Proven experience partnering with analysts and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data solutions.</li>
<li>Strong data modeling skills and the ability to explain how data relates and how it should be used.</li>

Compensation 
The expected annual salary for this position is between $140,000 and $160,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual's skills and experience.
