Ensure pull-in tube is properly prepared for installation by examining D-Rings, chains, and attachment to pulling cable</li><li>

Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly</li><li>
Cure resin products using an inflation tube, banding boots, layflat, boiler hose, etc.</li><li>

The successful Construction Project Superintendent should have the minimum of a High School Diploma. A Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree from a 4-year College or University or an Associate&rsquo;s Degree from a Vocational School is a plus.

<b>Responsibilities</b><ul><li>
Enforcing safety compliance (OSHA and Marand safety plan and policies) and advocating for safety is the number one priority.
</li><li>Supervise the construction effort in the field to ensure that the project is completed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, and customer objectives.</li><li>
Conduct weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors, vendors, and others as appropriate with respect to schedule safety issues, and other matters relating to performance in the field.</li><li>
Enforce compliance with all project procedures, safety program requirements, and work rules.</li><li>
Supervises and ensures the health and safety of the workers by enforcing all company, state, and federal guidelines.
</li><li>Prepare and distribute field reports in a timely manner (i.e., daily superintendent&rsquo;s reports, safety reports, etc.).</li><li>
Completion of punch list items in a time frame consistent with the customer&rsquo;s requirements and the project budget. Procore for punch list management
</li><li>Monitor and direct subcontractor&rsquo;s progress and ensure manpower is adequate to meet project schedule and customer expectations.</li><li>
Prepare as necessary subcontractor work schedules and provide input to the Project Manager in preparing and updating project construction schedules to jointly ensure timely completion.</li><li>
Verification of all layouts and/or checking of layout by subcontractors and the establishment of initial control lines and grades.</li><li>
Respond with clarity to subcontractors with respect to questions regarding the project documents and their work. Provide documentation and coordinate with Construction Manager as appropriate.</li><li>
Participate in pre-construction planning, including logistics, means and methods, bid and scope reviews, and project estimates.</li><li>
Maintain an up-to-date set of contract documents on site.</li><li>
Ensure that the subcontractors are maintaining record drawings (&ldquo;red line as builts&rdquo;) during construction.</li><li>
Responsible for the organization, establishment, and maintenance of the on-site field office to project a professional image (organized, clean, signage, etc.)</li><li>
The timely communication with the Construction Manager on matters regarding financial issues, safety, construction progress, labor issues, material problems, quality, code issues, etc.</li><li>
Interface and work harmoniously with respective Project Managers and other personnel.</li><li>
Manage, oversee, provide training, and act as a mentor to other Superintendent levels.
</li><li>Work in harmony with other Superintendents that may be assigned as part of a team on larger projects.</li><li>
Continue education in areas including OSHA and safety, means and methods, codes, management skills, new technology, etc.</li><li>
Maintain current Red Cross First Aid and CPR certification.</li><li>
Maintain a current working knowledge of the permit process in those communities where performing work and communicate information on changes to the office.</li><li>
Ensures overall cleanliness of the jobsite to Marand&rsquo;s standards.</li></ul><b>

The job is performed indoors in a variety of settings, including the office, interior building job sites, and job sites outside. While performing the duties of this job on a construction job site, the employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles (before the use of air scrubbers); outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee may potentially run the risk of being exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock and risk of vibration. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. Personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses and vest) and safety gear (including appropriate clothing, shoes, and gloves) are required on job sites.<br>
