In this vital role, you will facilitate smooth commercial and residential real estate transactions by drafting legal documents, managing title searches, and coordinating closings with precision and efficiency. There will additionally be some general law firm assistant type obligations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your legal knowledge in a fast-paced environment while supporting the growth of our real estate practice.</p><p>WORK FROM HOME with need to travel 5-6 times per month to office in Westshore area or other client site in Tampa Bay area.</p><p><b>Responsibilities</b></p><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive title searches and review title reports to identify potential issues or encumbrances affecting property transfers.</li><li>Prepare and review legal documents such as deeds, affidavits, closing disclosures, and settlement statements with accuracy and attention to detail.</li><li>Coordinate and facilitate real estate closings, including scheduling, document signing, and ensuring all conditions are met for a successful transfer.</li><li>Review contracts, leases, and other legal documents for consistency, accuracy, and adherence to applicable laws.</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders to ensure clarity and timely completion of all steps involved in property closings.</li></ul><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in real estate law or related fields.</li><li>Proficiency in document review, legal drafting, proofreading, transcription, and contract management.</li><li>Experience using title software.
