Position Summary:
Perform routine tasks assisting the professional dental staff and students in the examination and prophylactic, therapeutic and surgical treatment of patients. Works under direct supervision.

Job Summary
Supervises one of the functional areas within fire protection (Operations, Training and/or Prevention). Plans, develops, reviews, implements and evaluates department policy. Receives new guidance, regulations or procedures from the Fire Chief and disseminates information to subordinates. Prepares and schedules assignments of subordinate personnel to operations, training and/or fire inspection duties. Assist the Fire Chief in developing and implementing an overall company long-term strategic plan involving fire protection. Plans, administers, and supervises fire prevention education programs. Review construction and medication plans, confers with engineers, and provides technical/functional assistance on fire prevention and building design criteria. Identifies and reviews the status of base fire deficiencies and coordinates with the Fire Chief and other agencies for necessary corrective actions. Conducts recurring proficiency training in each functional area of fire protection. Assesses capabilities of fire protection programs, recommends changes when necessary, and manages personnel to ensure applicability of program objectives. Responsibilities 
Laboratory Skills 
<ul><li>Maintain and organize myeloma banking samples and research biospecimens</li><li>Process and store biospecimens following protocol requirements</li><li>Coordinate with research nurses to obtain patient blood, bone marrow aspirates, and tumor samples</li><li>Maintain accurate, detailed, and legible laboratory documentation</li><li>Operate laboratory equipment for biospecimen processing and storage</li><li>Review literature and confer with supervisors to update procedures</li><li>Record and evaluate data as assigned</li><li>Maintain attention to detail and alertness while working with samples</li></ul> 
Molecular &amp; Cellular Biology 
<ul><li>Perform bone marrow aspirate processing to produce mononuclear cells</li><li>Complete serum extraction, DNA preparation, and RNA extraction</li><li>Conduct PCR, flow cytometry, and ELISA following SOPs</li><li>Prepare samples for single-cell RNA sequencing, including single cell preparation, GEM generation, and cDNA amplification</li><li>Handle small-volume pipetting tasks with accuracy</li><li>Work independently to obtain and process samples consistently and promptly</li><li>Troubleshoot laboratory issues and seek guidance as needed</li></ul> 
Reporting &amp; Documentation 
<ul><li>Demonstrate full understanding of assigned research projects and protocols</li><li>Present project updates during weekly laboratory meetings</li><li>Maintain organized handwritten and digital records of procedures and protocols</li><li>Participate in SOP quality control reviews and biospecimen inventory checks</li><li>Collaborate with team members and directors to resolve workflow issues</li><li>Communicate effectively with strong written and verbal skills</li></ul>
