Position Purpose</b></div><div>
The Digital Content Specialist &ndash; Women&rsquo;s Pathway creates content for the league&rsquo;s digital and social platforms, highlighting human interest stories, on-field storylines, and key narratives across the USL Gainbridge Super League (professional) and USL W League (pre-professional). This role ideates, drafts, edits, and publishes digital content while serving as the primary point of contact for W League clubs. The ideal candidate understands the culture of soccer and has strong instincts for storytelling, content creation and digital trends.<br>

Duties and Responsibilities</b><br>
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:<br>

Write, edit, and publish digital content across league platforms, including websites and newsletters.</li><li>
Draft engaging narratives and human-interest stories throughout the season.</li><li>
Serve as the primary point of contact for USL W League clubs and support communication with Gainbridge Super League clubs.</li><li>
Maintain the women&rsquo;s pathway content calendar in collaboration with Communications, Partnerships, Social, and Digital Services teams.</li><li>
Produce multimedia content, including TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other digital video assets.</li><li>
Create and distribute internal communications to clubs to ensure consistent messaging and prepare clubs for league announcements.</li><li>
Assist in the creation and execution of fan-facing newsletters and match notes.</li><li>
Develop a growing knowledge of Gainbridge Super League and W League players, teams, and the broader soccer landscape.</li><li>
Support other communications and marketing initiatives as needed.</li><li>
Assist with other leagues and pathways as needed.</li>

Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related studies preferred, or equivalent professional work experience and/or combination of both work experience and education.</li><li>
1.5+ years of work experience in communications, social media, or digital content creation and/or related training in those fields.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, with exceptional proficiencies in writing and editing.</li><li>
Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a collaborative, team-first approach.</li><li>
