The Analyst partners with the Applications, Network, Clinical Informatics, Nursing Informatics, and other teams to provide high level troubleshooting and collaboration. The Analyst works issues escalated by Service Desk Analysts, Service Desk leadership, and End User Computing II. This individual enables all Endeavor Health (Endeavor) team members to work effectively across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual environments by ensuring a secure, reliable, and consistent end user technology experience.</div><div></div><div>
The incumbent maintains accurate records in incident management and inventory systems, requiring strong problem-solving skills and a degree of creativity. As a customer-facing role, maintains a high degree of professionalism and regularly engages with customers; they should be seen as trusted partners. The role is a liaison between customers and the broader IT organization. In this capacity, is present and engaged with their customers by proactively rounding, attending safety huddles as needed, remaining apprised of current activity at the customer site, etc. This role also actively participates and assists in leading large scale hardware deployment activities.</div><div></div><div>
The incumbent collaborates with other IT team members and customers to continually improve the digital workplace environment. Possessing a strong understanding of ITIL terminology and the healthcare environment is a plus. To be successful in this role, you will be expected to remain current on the latest solutions and technologies and remain wellinformed of customer concerns and needs. This role requires a balance of strong technical skills, particularly as it relates to triaging technical issues, and strong interpersonal skills to serve as the face of IT to our customers. What you will do:</div><ul><li>
Owns the entire device lifecycle management process from deployment to support, replacement, and retirement. Works independently, serves as an escalation point for level I, and leads small initiatives. Manages process consistent with industry best practice terminology (e.g., ITIL), Endeavor specific requirements, and sound professional judgment.</li><li>
Analyzes, prioritizes, responds, and resolves service requests in a timely manner, and according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and established IT support procedures. Resolves incoming service requests with the assistance of Endeavor systems, IT Support manuals, other Endeavor staff, Endeavor vendors, and uses troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose, test, and repair. Ensures IT environment is working optimally and meeting customer needs. Proactively reports any gaps in environment performance or lack of meeting customer needs and begins resolving as appropriate.</li><li>
Maintains ownership of all assigned service requests until they are resolved or escalated to the appropriate Endeavor staff or Endeavor vendor for resolution; escalates service requests appropriately according to IT support standards. Promptly updates ServiceNow on progress on assigned service requests. Effectively communicates status with customers and properly documents the status according to Endeavor documentation procedures. Utilizes knowledge gained by engaging with customers through rounding, attending safety huddles, ad hoc conversations, etc. to anticipate needs and proactively addresses.</li><li>
Provides desktop hardware and software support, including but not limited to: Moves, Adds or Changes (MAC), installation, deployment, implementation, swap out, updating, configuration, and re-configuration of equipment. Performs advanced troubleshooting and may specialize in certain technologies.</li><li>
Delivers high quality customer service as both a technical resource and a liaison to the IT organization.</li><li>
Supports projects such as construction, system implementations, upgrades, maintenance, and retirements. Completes assigned tasks within project timelines</li><li>

 CGS seeks a Senior Help Desk Technician to fulfill the requirements of Level 1 &amp; 2 Help Desk (PC Assist) support services to end users consisting of senior management, attorneys, support staff, contractors, and associated systems for the Executive Office for the United States Attorneys (EOUSA).

   Conduct and maintain accountable IT inventories such as laptops, desktops, tablet PCs, printers, MFPs&rsquo; accessories, IT supplies, etc. using spreadsheets
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide desk-side training for new employees and staff, consisting of basic instructions on accessing and using standard desktop applications (e.g. e-Mail, Microsoft Office, etc) and how to access available research database applications
  </li>
  <li>
   Submit weekly status reports and monthly surveys
  </li>
  <li>
   Set up and support conference and training rooms for presentations including, audio systems, video systems, A/V distribution systems, computer hardware and software, control programming, microphones, amplifiers, encrypted wireless microphone systems, digital recording and computer/video interface
  </li>

   Utilize online meeting applications such as Adobe Connect to support hardware set-up of microphones and webcams, set-up operations for audio mixing boards and facilitate/monitor/record online meeting sessions

 Qualifications:

   One year or more Adobe Connect or related online meeting center set-up experience. Non-Required, advantageous additional knowledge, experience, or competency considered favorable assets shall include:

   ITIL Foundations certification

   Active DOD clearance of Level 6 Public Trust or above

Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, <b>UChicago Medicine</b>, as a <b>Pharmacy Technician II</b> in the <b>Inpatient Pharmacy</b>. In this role as a Pharmacy Technician II you will be preparing medications and supplies for dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist and rotate through all work areas of the pharmacy department. This department supports and provides direct patient care to patients of all ages and of all patient populations. The Inpatient Pharmacy is known for providing exceptional assistance when your medical needs may be complex and requires special knowledge when collaborating with your medical provider and insurance company. The <b>Pharmacy Technician II</b> prepares inventories, orders drugs and supplies from pharmacy storeroom, receives drugs and stocks shelves in various pharmacy locations. In the absence of the pharmacist, facilitates the timely distribution of medications by prioritizing orders, seeking out the pharmacist for checking when necessary and working to prioritize STAT order handling. Completes and passes required annual technician competencies in a timely fashion. Complies with all departmental, hospital, and regulating agency policies or recommendations. Complies with all state and federal laws regulating their practice. Prepares outpatient prescriptions. Performs cashiering duties and assists in the training of new pharmacists and technician employees in their work areas.</p><p></p><div><b><br>
Essential Job Functions</b></div><ul><li>
Transports medications (excluding those medications handled through the pharmacy&rsquo;s controlled substance distribution system), IV&rsquo;s, TPN&rsquo;s, Chemotherapy, medication cassettes, other pharmacy supplies and equipment to the nursing units and clinics. Adds patient specific and re-stock medications to the Omnicell machines located in patient care areas, except the sterile corridor of surgery. Returns discontinued and outdated medications from the Omnicells to the Pharmacy.</li><li>
Replaces CPR cart medications following Dr. Cart events. Transfers patient specific medications from the Omnicell on the discharged unit to the Omnicell on the unit to which the patient has been transferred.
</li><li>Rotates through all work areas of the pharmacy department, works as a team player to achieve pharmaceutical care for the patient, fills, first doses, restocks and patient specific medications from the carousels, performs monthly nursing unit, clinic and pharmacy area inspections as directed, maintains work areas (IV Room, UD Area, Manufacturing area, store rooms, pharmacy satellites) by restocking and cleaning as needed, answers phone calls</li><li>
Triages phone communication appropriately and according to policy, collects quality assurance data and maintains workload records as required, performs other patient and/or drug related duties within the legal scope of their licensure as assigned by the pharmacist and/or supervisor.</li><li>
Prepares medications and supplies for dispensing under the supervision of a pharmacist including: prepackaging bulk medications byfilling unit dose-specific syringes and vials of medications for both adult and pediatric patients, compounded oral suspensions and Grade One mouthwash. Compounds IV admixtures, chemotherapy, desensitization medications, high-cost biologics and pediatric IV&rsquo;s and restocks CPR cart trays.</li><li>
Prepares inventories, orders drugs and supplies from pharmacy storeroom, receives drugs and stocks shelves in various pharmacy locations.

Required Qualifications</b></div><ul><li>
Current Illinois Pharmacy Technician License.</li><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)</li><li>
IV room non-hazardous and hazardous compounding required</li><li>
Minimum of one year pharmacy experience, or</li><li>
Completion of an ASHP approved pharmacy technician vocational course, or student enrolled in a college of pharmacy or at the University of Chicago. Graduates of foreign pharmacy programs are also eligible for consideration.</li><li>
Ability to work as a team player to accomplish optimal patient care by providing superior pharmaceutical services.</li><li>
Good communication skills to interact with patients and staff.</li><li>
Considerable knowledge of basic pharmacy practices and procedures.</li><li>
Considerable knowledge of medications and medical supplies.</li><li>
Good knowledge of record keeping practices.</li><li>
Successful completion of core technician competencies and subsequent yearly competencies.</li><li>
Considerable skill in working with attention to detail.</li><li>
Considerable verbal communications skills.</li><li>
Familiar with computers and keyboard usage.</li><li>
Sensitivity to patient care issues as they pertain to the practice of pharmacy.</li></ul><div><b><br>
