The Data Center Operations (DCO) organization provides physically secure, environmentally stable, high availability data center services. The Data Center Site Manager is responsible for managing and performing the Data Center Operations services at the New York and New Jersey data center locations (currently 3 locations). This includes both collocation and owned data center facilities. This role will both manage and directly perform infrastructure and IT Equipment installations, moves, changes, decommission, repair and incident response for our clients.
Primary purpose of this role is to oversee the delivery of physically secure, high availability data center services through the use of modern platforms and facilitate open access to information for our New York and New Jersey data center locations. This role will both manage and directly perform infrastructure and IT Equipment installations, moves, changes, decommission, repair and incident response for our clients.
The Data Center Site Manager will be the primary contact and is accountable for all data center services provided by Data Center Operations for the New York and New Jersey locations. This role will either manage, directly perform or act as the liaison to the appropriate teams to deliver all Data Center Operations Services; vendor management, mechanical, electrical, plumping (MEP) and fire-life-safety (FLS), physical security, Infrastructure Moves, Adds and Changes (IMAC), logistics (shipping, receiving &amp; storage), eWaste, media destruction and data center design consultation.
