Exceptional Skills and Qualifications</b></p>
<p>
Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.</p>
<ul>
<li> Graduate/certificate of completion from a recognized medical assisting program OR a High School Diploma/GED + one year of medical assistant experience in a physician practice within the past three years.</li>
<li><b> Medical Assistant certification required within 6 months of hire</b></li>
<li> Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient use including required cleaning and stocking of supplies</li>
<li><b> </b>Room patients and manage an efficient flow of provider&rsquo;s caseload</li>
<li> Obtain necessary vital signs, EKGs, and/or specimen collection</li>
<li> Documentation of care using the EPIC EMR system</li>
<li> Perform Point of Care Testing based on patient&rsquo;s chief complaint and available protocols</li>
<li> Process referrals and medication refills</li>
<li> Maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff</li>
