Position Summary:
The Field Superintendent will play a pivotal role in driving the completion of a high-tech manufacturing facility by leading the team through layout, planning, and execution of their assigned project scope. As a member of the Construction Management team, the Field Superintendent will be situated in the field and report directly to the Project Superintendent. They will collaborate closely with other Hoffman project team members and subcontractors, providing direction and guidance to ensure project objectives are met while maintaining excellence in safety and demonstrating the highest level of integrity. As leaders dedicated to doing what is right, Field Superintendents will partner with internal and external teams and stakeholders to execute Hoffman Construction&rsquo;s iconic projects. This position will be fully at the project site located near Boise, ID. This is a swing/night shift position. 
Salary Range: $98,000- $145,000 
Essential Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Coordinate day-to-day activities with other superintendents, field superintendents, and subcontractors.
</li><li>Supervise multiple subcontractors and craft employees.
</li><li>Maintain and adjust project schedule daily.
</li><li>Manage and abide by all safety protocol.
</li><li>Provide resolution to design and constructability issues.
</li><li>Respond to customer/client requests and/or issues and develop resolution to problems using technical expertise.
</li><li>Must be able to interpret and implement proper installations in compliance with all local authority permitting, codes and site specifications.

Professional Experience and Education

Studying and testing to meet the Apprenticeship Program requirements and time sensitive benchmarks.</li><li>
Taking the initiative to install sprinkler pipe to a level of proficiency relative to their apprenticeship level.</li><li>
Advanced/competent Apprentices may get opportunities to run small projects under the supervision of the
Regional Labor Superintendent.</li><li>
Apprentices may be asked to install larger or specific portions of the sprinkler project under the supervision of a
Project Foreman.</li></ul>
Education/Qualification:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li><li>
Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in working with hand and power tools.</li><li>
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.</li><li>
Comfortable working with a computer.</li><li>
Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the field of fire sprinkler system installation.</li></ul>
Other Duties:<ul><li>
Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. and work at excessive heights up to and including 100 feet</li><li>
Have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li><li>
Ability to travel and have a flexible work schedule</li><li>
Team oriented focus</li><li>
Willing to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check</li></ul>
Physical Requirements:<ul><li>
Ability to walk and maneuver self around construction job sites and climb ladders occasionally.</li><li>
Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy pipe daily (10-40 lbs frequently and 50-75 lbs occasionally).</li><li>
Bending and squatting frequently and for long periods of time.</li><li>
Reaching and performing work above shoulder level frequently and for long periods of time.</li><li>
Ability to withstand occasional exposure to hot, cold, and/or inclement weather on job sites.</li><li>
Ability to wear PPE such as steel toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glass, safety harnesses, and hard hats occasionally on job sites.</li></ul>
