The Psychology Division in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) is recruiting a <b>Pediatric Psychologist dedicated to oncology/hematology to join our Psychology Division.</b></p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Job Duties</b></h2></div><div><p>
The pediatric psychologist will provide evaluation and intervention services for children and adolescents presenting with acute and chronic medical conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Referring medical subspecialty partners include Gastroenterology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, and Hematology/Oncology among others. Common reasons for referral include adjustment to chronic condition/medical diagnosis, adherence/self-management behavior, and management of pain and other physical symptoms to promote function.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Minimum Qualifications</b></h2></div><div><p>
Candidates for the position will have obtained:</p><p>
A doctorate in clinical, counseling, or school psychology with a specialization in child clinical psychology.<br>
Completed both an APA-accredited psychology internship and postdoctoral training in child clinical psychology.<br>
Licensure or license-eligibility in Texas.</p><p></p><p><br>
