<b>Responsibilities</b><br>

Prepare effective work plans and labor budgets for approval by Department Manager.</li><li>
Monitor time schedules and capital cost budgets on projects to satisfy the client as well as control work and productivity.</li><li>
Identify the project team, work packages and tasks, evaluation methods, productivity targets, schedule of deliverables and labor hours required on projects.</li><li>
Responsible for the quality control/quality assurance process on all assigned projects.</li><li>
Oversee the work and productivity on assigned projects.</li><li>
Strive to achieve predetermined goals for profit, productivity targets, schedule of events and an estimation of staff requirements as necessary.</li><li>
Participate in formulating and coordinating proposals and provides other Marketing support, including Business Development.</li><li>
Hold team meetings ensuring procedures governing review and approval of projects are followed prior to submission of completed work.</li><li>
Negotiate with clients on any scope changes relative to project budgets and schedules subject to supervisors&rsquo; approval.</li><li>
Coordinate and communicate effectively with all employees involved in the project to ensure high utilization rates (i.e. Project team meetings).</li><li>
Review monthly labor and cost reports to ensure projects are being completed at the predetermined profit goal.</li><li>
Ensure everyone involved is working in accordance with all project planning and profit control procedures.</li><li>
Ensure that all budgets affecting the project schedule and/or fee budget are discussed with the client. Ensure that all out-of-scope work and associated feeds are approved by the client prior to performing the services.</li><li>
Solicit help and involvement from Department Managers and any other managers to troubleshoot any technical problems.</li><li>
Works efficiently with the Billing Department to authorize and transmit bills to client. Follows up with clients for timely payments.</li><li>
Mentor junior staff in learning sound technical and business practices and enhancing corporate objectives.</li><li>
Adhere to Health and Safety program and all applicable SOPs.</li><li>
Review time sheets of direct reports during a specified reporting period.</li><li>
Evaluate Employee Performance in accordance with company policy.</li><li>

<b>Qualifications</b><br>

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering with 12+ years&rsquo; related experience.</li><li>
MS degree with Geotechnical Specialty is a plus.</li><li>
PE certification or ability to obtain within 3 months is required.</li><li>
Familiarity with regional geotechnical conditions across Southeastern states (NC, SC, GA, FL).</li><li>
Ability to interpret and analyze subsurface investigation data, including borings, test pits, and geophysical surveys.</li><li>
Proficiency in preparing and reviewing geotechnical reports, recommendations, and technical proposals.</li><li>
Geostudio and RocScience software experience preferred.</li><li>

Develop and manage project schedule, pay estimates, project procedures, staffing requirements, and equipment resources needed to complete accurate and timely production on heavy civil infrastructure projects and segments valued at over $500 million.</li><li>
Lead and coordinate change management processes on heavy civil infrastructure projects, evaluating the effect of proposed changes on overall project schedule and budget and implementing controls to mitigate financial and schedule risk.</li><li>
Assess project contracts and supporting documents for completeness; work with the owner to resolve specification conflicts, contract discrepancies, and scheduling issues on heavy civil infrastructure projects.</li><li>
Oversee engineering and scheduling teams to identify, evaluate, and negotiate proposed change orders on heavy civil infrastructure projects, engaging senior leadership for support as needed.</li><li>
Create and present monthly cost and revenue forecasts and reports to company leadership.</li><li>
Ensure project safety reviews and procedures are followed by conducting regular safety checks, participating in safety meetings and monthly review meetings, and supporting the safety programs of both the project and the owner.</li><li>
Review and approve staffing and equipment needs for efficient and effective project production on heavy civil infrastructure project segments.</li><li>
Manage communications with third-party stakeholders, including utility owners, government agencies, and subcontractors to provide updates on project progress and resolve issues with respect to project strategy and execution.</li><li>
Participate in dispute resolution process with support from internal legal counsel.</li><li>
Provide input on equipment procurement methods and contracts to ensure efficient and effective project production.</li><li>
Lead project closeout procedures, finalizing contract paperwork, obtaining retainages and working with management to resolve any project claims. Lead project debrief cycle to review all aspects of project work and completion.</li><li><div>
