Apartment Make Ready Technician

The Apartment Make Ready Technician performs general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and other property facilities are in good working order. An Apartment Make Ready Technician ensures that empty apartment homes are fully prepared for future residents. Responsibilities include preparing apartment homes for move-in including painting, pressure washing, grounds keeping, and basic maintenance tasks.

SUMMARY
 The Groundskeeper maintains and ensures cleanliness of the property which includes the grounds, all common areas, and amenities.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Hours: Monday thru Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Hours of operation are subject to change based on the Property&rsquo;s needs and activities. Competencies and Education: Must be competent in the areas of communication, customer service, accountability, teamwork and organization. A Groundskeeper should present a professional image at all times. A minimum of a high school education is required. <ul><li>Maintenance of the grounds and common areas including removing trash, sweeping, pressure washing, blowing and repairing broken lights or other building fixtures.</li><li>Daily maintenance of the fitness room and laundry room including cleaning floors, mirrors, and machines.</li><li>Perform various maintenance work requests including, but not limited to changing light bulbs, cleaning light fixtures, running pressure washer, minor plumbing repairs, painting, and light general maintenance duties.</li><li>Daily upkeep of the swimming pool deck; learn chemical treatments and routines for eventual certification.</li><li>All work is to be performed in strict adherence to OSHA guidelines and with the proper protective equipment.</li><li>Other projects and duties as requested.</li></ul></div><div>

<ul><li>Notify the Service Manager when supplies are needed.</li><li>Complete documentation on all completed work orders regarding specific repairs done and date and time of completion using the mobile application.</li><li>Review the SDS Logs prior to use of any new chemical.</li><li>Participate in ongoing internal and external training related to areas of the position.</li></ul></div><div>
