The Role</h2>
This is the single most important hire we're making right now. We need someone to 10x our user base.
Today, our acquisition is primarily organic and email-based, and our funnel has significant room for optimization. Everything is on the table &mdash; new channels, new strategies, product-led growth loops, partnerships, whatever works.
You'll own the full growth picture: acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion across both sides of our marketplace (influencers and brands). You'll work directly with our product and engineering team to ship experiments, build growth features, and optimize every step of the user journey. You'll also build and execute on channel strategy to drive top-of-funnel volume.

You arrive a few minutes before your center opens to make sure everything is ready and check there’s nothing the cleaners have missed.

A woman needs directions to her meeting room… and can you help her set up the projector and show her where to find a great cup of coffee. You will craft a comprehensive education strategy that helps developers &mdash; from first-time explorers to advanced production users &mdash; understand, adopt, and master Kiro&rsquo;s capabilities. 
 
This role sits at the intersection of content strategy, developer experience, curriculum design, and developer feedback loops. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing to ensure education directly improves activation, retention, and meaningful usage of Kiro. 
 
Key job responsibilities 
Strategic Leadership &amp; Curriculum Design 
 
<ul><li>Define and continually refine Kiro&rsquo;s developer education strategy and long-term roadmap.</li><li>Build compelling, structured learning paths and own the developer learning experience as a strategic lever for product growth and trust.</li></ul> 
Technical Education Content 
 
<ul><li>Produce high-impact education artifacts: tutorials, walkthroughs, how-to guides, best-practice playbooks, code samples, interactive labs, long and short videos &mdash; basically whatever it takes.</li><li>Translate complex agentic AI concepts into clear, actionable lessons that developers can apply immediately.</li><li>Partner with engineering to keep educational content aligned with product changes and releases.</li></ul> 
Feedback Loop &amp; Product Insight 
 
<ul><li>Systematically gather developer feedback on learning pain points, confusing workflows, and patterns of failure.</li><li>Communicate insights back to Product and Engineering to reduce friction and improve the overall product experience.</li><li>Use telemetry and qualitative user signals to measure and improve education impact.</li></ul> 
Developer Community &amp; Programs 
 
<ul><li>Lead programs that integrate education into community touchpoints &mdash; office hours, workshops, webinars, events, and interactive sessions.</li><li>Enable internal and external educators to represent Kiro&rsquo;s best practices and workflows.</li></ul>

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related STEM fields, or experience in software development</li><li>10+ years of experience in developer education, developer experience, developer relations, technical content leadership, or related roles.</li><li>Deep technical fluency &mdash; you understand developer workflows, can read/write code, and can explain technical concepts clearly.</li><li>Proven success creating structured learning paths and educational content that measurably improve user outcomes.</li><li>Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering, support, and community teams.</li><li>Experience with AI-assisted or intelligent developer tools, and familiarity with how developers adopt new paradigms.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS</h2><ul><li>Experience writing technical articles, speaking at technology conferences, and contributing to open source</li><li>Experience growing or leading an education, DevRel, or developer experience org.</li><li>Track record improving developer onboarding and retention through education investments.</li></ul>

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
