Job Duties<br>
Duties may include the following responsibilities or functions required to support the claims unit.
<ul><li>Reviews, research, and make necessary updates to claims that may include the following: recalculation of benefits to previously processed claims, the processing of claims edits, or initiation of refund requests, according to contractual benefits or provider reimbursement rules, ultimately providing a high degree of customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Achieves and maintains a clear understanding of all systems, applications, and procedures necessary to identify denial codes, edits, and processing codes pertaining to all claims (including our coordination with additional coverage plans) to process both coordinated and non-coordinated claims correctly. Requesting medical records may be required.</li>
<li>Communicates, both orally and in writing, with internal and external contacts to provide necessary and accurate information for the establishment of sound claims records. This may include, but is not limited to, the coordination of benefits (COB), medical record requests, etc.</li>
<li>Review quality audits for correction or routing within 48 hours of receipt following departmental and corporate guidelines to ensure accuracy of claims processing and customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Research, investigates, and determines the correct order of benefits for payment to be made by the applicable plans and makes necessary corrections to COB records. Communicates to appropriate department(s) when Medicare has determined primacy incorrectly and ensures a letter is generated to notify Medicare. Failure to report discrepancy could result in a daily fine up to ***</li>
<li>Analyzes, investigates, resolves problem cases (to include COB records, adjusting previously processed claims and requesting refund of overpaid claims). Reviews of all previously processed claims to ensure consistency in payments to maximize recovery of overpayments following corporate and departmental guidelines to ensure financial stability.</li>
<li>Executes procedures to recover funds from providers, subscribers, or beneficiaries where overpayments have occurred to ensure accuracy of claims processing and financial stability.</li>
<li>Steps in and assists in any other capacity as deemed necessary (i.e., training, implementations, and documentation). May complete special projects as assigned by Management due to internal audit findings, multiple provider status changes, and system errors following corporate and departmental guidelines to ensure financial stability and customer satisfaction.</li>

What You&rsquo;ll Do:</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>
Supervisory Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Supervise on-site employees and applicable office staff as projects may require. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Ciminelli policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, training, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems</li><li>
Oversees/recommends periodic updates of property management proposal materials, operating reports, tenant handbooks, online documents and ancillary prospect/client materials</li></ul><div><b>
Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Prepares property operating budget(s) utilizing budget and forecasting module and analyze expense reconciliations</li><li>
Completes, supervises, and coordinates preparation of monthly client operation reports (financial statements, report narratives, comparative income statements, etc)</li><li>
Monitors weekly cash balances on assigned properties. Ensures monthly mortgage payments, sales tax, insurance premiums, and real estate taxes are paid timely on assigned properties. Facilitates owner funding if necessary</li><li>
Approves the processing of invoices and there proper coding for property related expenditures for assigned properties</li><li>
Monitors and coordinates timely Real Estate, Quarterly, State and Federal Tax preparation and submission</li><li>
Performs routine inspections of the property to ensure proper operation of building systems, overall tenant satisfaction, general curb appeal, proper maintenance, and code compliance</li><li>
Ensures owner/tenant satisfaction though high-level interaction with same<br>
</li><li>
Monitors and tracks all health, life, safety, legal and insurance claims, informs Vice President of Property Services regarding all claims received<br>
</li><li>
Investigates accidents, vandalism, or property damage, recommending action and/or submitting claims for payment to an insurance carrier<br>
</li><li>
Oversees and coordinates transition and disposition of portfolio properties<br>
</li><li>
Ensures property insurance policies are renewed before expiration<br>
</li><li>
Ensures tenant/vendor files and insurance certificates are kept current<br>
</li><li>
Oversees and ensures annual corporate entity and annual condo filings are submitted to the appropriate state authorities as well as maintain copies of bylaws, rules &amp; regs, &amp; meeting minutes</li><li>
Attend condominium or association meetings as needed<br>
</li><li>
Seeks educational and development opportunities to stay current with company goals and industry trends</li><li>
Supervise tenant move-ins and move outs<br>
</li><li>
Perform special assignments upon request; direct, supervise and participate in research, analysis and development of studies as needed<br>
</li><li>
Supervises and ensures timely tenant default and associated communication notices<br>
</li><li>
Assists construction management department</li><li>
Ensures accurate records are maintained for all tenant improvement and construction management activities<br>
</li><li>
Maintains clear line of communication and works closely with Accounting, Marketing and Leasing personnel<br>
</li><li>
Ensures online maintenance system is utilized on all assigned properties<br>
</li><li>
Ensures a professional appearance and attitude for all property staff<br>
</li><li>
Responds to or directs staff to respond to all client/tenant requests or complaints in a timely, efficient and courteous manner in accordance with Ciminelli and or property owner guidelines<br>
</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned</li></ul><div><b>
What You&rsquo;ll Need:</b></div><ul><li>
B.A. or B.S. degree in Management, Finance, Real Estate or related field<br>
</li><li>
Minimum of three years related experience and/or training in a commercial real estate management function.

</li><li>Solid knowledge of, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, Yardi, Workspeed, and REA required<br>
</li><li>
Valid Florida Real Estate Salesperson License beneficial but not required<br>
</li><li>
Valid Florida Drivers License and Insurance required<br>
</li><li>
Effective time management and organizational abilities</li><li>
Communicates professionally while understanding and addressing customer inquires and team needs<br>
</li><li>
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists<br>
</li><li>
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, simple and compound interest, TVM, amortization, ratios and percents</li></ul><p><b>
