Senior Safety/HSEW Officer

AtkinsRealis are currently looking for HSEW Officer in Qatar for large innfrastucture projects. The HSEW Officer will be responsible for overseeing all Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects of the project to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, best practices, and company policies. This is a critical role that contributes to the successful and safe execution of the project.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Your role</h2><ul><li>
Perform site inspection of work areas, laydown areas, offices, tools, equipment and vehicles.</li><li>
Identify non-conformances and address them with the method appropriate with the severity of the non-conformance.</li><li>
Develop the Emergency Response Plan and implement it.</li><li>
Perform monthly HSE Self Audits.</li><li>
Produce the required internal reports and upload in the BlueSky (HSE Data Management Portal of AtkinsR&eacute;alis).</li><li>
Produce the required HSE reports and submit for clients and stakeholders.</li><li>
Identify training needs for Subcontractor personnel.</li><li>
Conduct training and TBTs for all project personnel.</li><li>
Implements the AtkinsR&eacute;alis Bluebook GHSEMS.</li><li>
Establishes system and processes designed to ensure compliance to AtkinsR&eacute;alis GHSEMS.</li><li>
Provides HSE documentation and support to AtkinsR&eacute;alis managers and supervisors on site.</li><li>
Interfaces with client representatives to ensure that ongoing input to the HSE processes are incorporated and that satisfaction with the results is achieved.</li><li>
Maintains current, daily knowledge of all active areas, records and reports as per HSE requirements.</li><li>
Ensures that Subcontractor attend HSE training and have competent resources.</li><li>
Assists the Construction / Operations Manager in follow-up of corrective actions.</li><li>
Leads site HSE inspections with managers.</li><li>
Conducts incident investigations and follow-ups on corrective actions.</li><li>
Ensures communication with the Subcontractors HSE officers.</li><li>
Informs Construction / Project Manager of HSE issues to ensure compliance with contractual, legal and other requirements.</li><li>
Leads Joint H&amp;S Committee meetings.</li><li>
