 Systems Management:

 Manage internal and external program of NSQL and vessels compliance audits, and act as a focal point for advice to management and staff onboard and ashore on compliance.

 Act as a focal point and steer NSQL TMSA rating and SIRE program and ensure timely follow up on actions.

 Establish, carry out and follow-up on audit plan, training assurance through the department staff and TASs, vessels&rsquo; vetting, suggestion schemes, preventative, and corrective actions from audits.

 Ensures that NSQL vessels&rsquo; HSSEQ performance is effectively monitored, safety data analysis is undertaken, and &lsquo;live&rsquo; summary management information is prepared on a routine or ad-hoc basis.

 Maintain safety initiatives register and agreed actions are timely monitored with assigned owners for timely delivery.

 Ensure the well-being of managed vessels personnel in terms of occupational health, safety, security, and environmental awareness.

 Play a role in ensuring that the sea staff recruitment is meeting the SIGTTO Guidelines, Charterers&rsquo; matrices, STCW, right qualification and experience.

 BSc or equivalent degree in an Engineering discipline from an accredited University, is required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Project Management Professional (PMP), Associate in Project Management (APM) or equivalent certification, is preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum of fifteen (15) years&rsquo; relevant experience in medium/large Brownfield oil &amp; gas projects, including at least five (5) years in a similar position, is preferred, but not necessarily essential.

 Demonstrable ability to manage EPC, EPs and/or EPCM contracts for offshore and onshore Brownfield Oil &amp; Gas projects for major Oil &amp; Gas companies.

 Specific experience in the GCC region for renowned clients is preferred, but not necessarily essential.
 </li>
 <li>
 Positive personality, ability, and experience to drive, manage, direct and guide the team to achieve project objectives.

 Thorough understanding of project management techniques and practices.

 Experience of developing and implementing project measures of success/benefits/business priorities.

 Operations Manager
 
 . Could it be you?
 
 
 If appointed, you will oversee daily operations of the Qatar‑based vessels for GAC Marine LLC. You will act as the key liaison between the vessels and the organization, ensuring safety, certifications and regulatory compliance. The role also promotes continuous improvement in safety practices, coordinates with fleet and technical teams on maintenance and repairs, and provides the primary point of contact for all client and customer inquiries related to the fleet.
 
 
 
 The Job
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Operational Management &ndash; Oversee the day-to-day operations of marine vessels. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Safety and Compliance &ndash; Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments. Ensure vessels are compliant with international maritime laws and company standards. Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Crew Management &ndash; Supervise marine crew activities and performance. Coordinate crew changes and activities with crew management and support with local requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintenance and Performance &ndash; Monitor vessel performance and maintenance schedules. Liaise with engineering teams for repairs and upgrades. Review maintenance reports and recommend improvements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contract Execution &ndash; Planning and coordinating all craft movements and to ensure craft compliance for contracts executed by the company.
 </li>
 <li>
 Customer Engagement - Ensure vessels are fully ready and capable of fulfilling customers&rsquo; requirements. Liaison with customers on operational issues and focal point for customer complaints.
 </li>

 Operational Compliance - Ensure vessels are fully certified to class and local/international legislation requirements and are compliant with the legislation in the area of operation, including flag state requirements in place.

 Marine Engineering Certificate
 </li>

 MUST be an experienced Master
 </li>
 <li>
 At least 3 years as Marine Manager or Marine Superintendent
 </li>
 <li>
 Marine management experience of towage fleet and crew boats
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in offshore with the same vessel type or fleet &ndash; AHTS towage.
