Job Summary
Instructional Assistants at Purdue Polytechnic High School provide academic and instructional support to students under the direction of licensed teachers and school leadership. This role supports student learning through targeted assistance, reinforcement of instruction, and structured academic interventions aligned to classroom instruction and school-wide academic priorities.
Instructional Assistants do not serve as the primary instructional lead but work collaboratively with educators to help students access curriculum, build foundational skills, and make progress toward academic goals.

Instructional and Student Support<ul><li>
Provide instructional assistance to students during class, personal learning time, and other structured learning periods, as assigned.</li><li>

GENERAL SUMMARY

The Executive Assistant position provides administrative and clerical assistance to the Senior Directors of business units. This is a position requiring considerable initiative, independent thinking, good judgment, and discretion in all aspects of the position. Duties include, but are not limited to screening calls, visitors, and mail; arranging appointments, meetings, and conferences; and aiding the facilitation of special events. The Executive Assistant must maintain appointment schedules, answer and follow up on requests for information, and assist with public relations activities. This Assistant must have experience working for a Finance Team and have expert level experience managing Microsoft and Adobe Acrobat software (Word, Excel, RRT, etc) in a professional environment.

 Schedule and coordinate necessary records for ancillary care for patients

 Assist providers with exams and testing (pelvic exams, eye irrigations and ear irrigations, I &amp; D&rsquo;s and splinting/ ortho-glass preparation
 </li>

 Maintain confidentiality with all patient information (HIPAA)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensures equipment is in working order
 </li>
 <li>
 Logs laboratory procedures when completed, processes related paperwork using computer equipment as directed
 </li>

 Maintains examination rooms and stocks necessary medical supplies
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs duties to ensure good patient flow
 </li>

 Registration duties: explain to patients what insurances that are accepted and those that are out of network as well knowledgeable of all pricing - Properly collect and record payments, complete registration screen in a timely manner

 Accurately and thoroughly documents the patient&rsquo;s medical history, physical exam, and procedures

 Completes transcription as requested

 Minimum Job Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 1+ years&rsquo; experience in a Patient Care Tech role or equivalent preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to identify equipment problems and correcting or notifying team leader
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to apply written instructions and standardized work practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients, and families
 </li>
 <li>
 Able to withstand physical &amp; mental demands: standing, walking, stooping, and bending. Requires ability to move equipment and transfer patients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Computer knowledge and skills, must be able to register patients on the computer in a timely manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Up-to-date on injections, and provide documentation, as per OSHA guidelines
 </li>

 Ability to complete and maintain CPR certification
 </li>

 Excellent listening and note-taking skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to apply written instructions and standardize work practices

 Basic computer skills, including the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
