We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst who will play a key role in leading complex technology, ERP initiatives, and the delivery of Enterprise application projects including project support of the latest S/4 HANA solution. Responsibilities:

The Principal Enterprise Steward &amp; Semantic Layer Lead is the strategic expert focused on defining meaning, usage, and quality of enterprise data aligned with the Enterprise Data &amp; Analytics Office. They work closely with business and IT teams to ensure the quality, integrity, and governance of data assets across the enterprise. Key Accountabilities</div><div>
Semantic Layer &amp; Model Governance</div><ul><li>Set the vision for enterprise ontologies and semantic models to unify business concepts across data domains and data products; ensure business contextual representations of data</li><li>Advise and/or develop enterprise semantic layer and business logic abstractions for analytics &amp; AI readiness, collaborating with architects, business stakeholders and technical product and modeling teams</li><li>Ensure business rules and KPIs are identified and incorporated into the semantic layer</li></ul><div>
Data Governance</div><ul><li>Manage new data initiatives and approved data use cases; prioritizing and defining requirements for data domains and key data elements with domain teams</li><li>Onboard, coordinates with and supports domain teams to ensure application of policies &amp; standards; performs check-ins with domain teams for ongoing domain sustainability efforts</li></ul><div>
Data Catalog</div><ul><li>Define/Validate requirements for data elements and populate the enterprise data catalog</li><li>Review and refresh (as required) data lineage, and business and technical metadata</li></ul><div>
Data Quality</div><ul><li>Define quality rules for data within domain</li><li>Oversee remediation of data quality issues in partnership with data stewards &amp; custodians</li></ul><div></div><div>
Education, Experience, &amp; Skill Requirements</div><ul><li>12+ years minimum of progressive experience in data discipline such as data engineering, data governance, data architecture or a related area</li><li>Experience gained through college degree programs and/or certifications in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Data Architecture &amp; Design</li><li>Experience with semantic layer technologies (e.g., dbt, databricks), SQL, data dimensional modeling and BI tools</li><li>Demonstrated project management experience designing and implementing data and semantic layer governance initiatives in a management role</li><li>Expertise in data management concepts, data governance frameworks, and data quality principles</li><li>Experience with data catalog, data management and data quality tools (e.g., Alation catalog, Alation marketplace, Big Eye)</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to effectively and persuasively communicate standards, practices, and initiatives to drive data and semantic layer governance throughout the organization</li><li>Ability to liaise with data owners, data stewards and data consumers on both business and technical levels, translating business requirements into technical requirements</li><li>Knowledge of data sources, transformation rules, and uses of data for the area of data stewardship</li><li>Experience in performance management metrics</li></ul><div>
