Housekeeper may be required to perform tasks which involve following the required procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing, or moving of objects/materials and/or the clean-up of assigned areas of facility.</p>

Position Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Operates various cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, polishers, buffers, etc.</li>
<li>Maintains facility in a clean and sanitary condition through washing, cleaning, and replacement of equipment and furnishings.</li>
<li>Requires working in damp, dusty and dirty areas.</li>
<li>Responsible for disposal of trash, waste, and other disposable materials. Empties trash containers.</li>
<li>Handles various cleaning solvents, chemicals, etc. Complies with all regulations such as OSHA, EPA, State Health Department, etc.</li>
<li>Plans work schedule for major tasks.</li>
<li>Damp dusts furniture, light fixtures, window sills, etc.</li>
<li>Wet mops floors in assigned areas, including bathrooms daily. Damp mops all corridor floors, lobby, dining areas, and others daily.</li>
<li>Cleans restrooms, wash basins, mirrors, commodes, counter tops, urinals, tubs, and showers daily. Cleans toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors and counters.</li>
<li>Checks all assigned areas daily to keep fresh.</li>
<li>Cleans air vents.</li>
<li>Reports any needed repairs immediately to supervisor (such as leaky faucets or toilets, loose tile, broken window panes, missing nuts or screws, etc.).</li>
<li>Washes windows as scheduled.</li>
<li>Strips and recoats all floor areas when necessary and as scheduled.</li>
<li>Checks areas for spills, water, etc. periodically, especially in bathrooms.</li>
<li>Use safety precautions in all housekeeping services.</li>
<li>Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition.</li>
