Tutors do not proofread or edit for grammar or mechanical errors, but they do instruct students on language usage. Outside of writing consultations, tutors are expected to create and run workshops for students that target crucial topics in academic and creative writing. The Speech Pathologist Clinical Specialist evaluates and treats patients referred for speech, language, cognitive, and dysphagia dysfunction. 
Responsibilities
1. Evaluates and treats patients with neurogenic speech language/swallowing impairment; communicates findings to members of the Rehab team via participation in patient conferences and in written reports.

2. Recommends diets, and performs modified barium swallow studies/FEES when indicated.
