This position works under direct supervision and receives training on docketing processes, court rule applications, and legal technology systems.
Job Responsibilities<ul><li>
The Litigation Docketing Clerk is responsible for entering, tracking and monitoring case-related deadlines using the firm&rsquo;s docketing software systems.</li><li>
Accurately input data related to court dates, deadlines and other crucial legal information into the docketing system.</li><li>
Review court filings, orders and notices to identify important dates and requirements; enter case information, activity, and deadlines into firm docket system.</li><li>
Assist in the management and organization of legal documents, including filing and retrieving documents as required.</li><li>
Conduct basic docket and case lookup research via online court systems and PACER/PacerPro.</li><li>
Liaise with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to provide updates on case status and requirements.</li><li>
Research and/or monitor cases with the use of various online resources.</li><li>
Respond promptly and professionally to information requests from attorneys and professional staff regarding matter inquiries</li><li>
