  The Regional Sales Manager, East will be a key member of the Chosen Foods Sales organization developing Chosen Foods conventional grocery retailers in the Eastern US. Chosen Foods is well positioned to continue our rapid growth trajectory, and this position will play an integral part in expanding distribution, optimizing trade execution and adopting best practices with our broker and distributor partners throughout the region.

    Forecasting &amp; Performance Management:
   </strong>
   Build annual sales forecasts and manage monthly performance against sales, fill rate, and profit KPIs using internal and external data.&nbsp;

    Distributor &amp; Channel Management:
   </strong>
   Negotiate distributor and partner agreements within the grocery channel, including promotional funding and trade terms.&nbsp;

    Business Analysis:

   Analyze monthly performance reports to identify risks and growth opportunities, particularly within underperforming accounts.&nbsp;

    Market &amp; Trend Monitoring:

   Maintain optimal sales volume, mix, and pricing by tracking supply and demand dynamics, market trends, economic indicators, and competitive activity.&nbsp;

    Retail Management:
   </strong>
   Oversee retailer execution including promotional calendars, new item introductions, and ongoing retail programs.

   Design and execute sales programs, promotions, new item launches, and retail initiatives to achieve sales and profitability objectives. Manage trade spending for all accounts within trade budget.

   Develop regional sales strategy, tactics, and annual plans to deliver volume, revenue, and profit targets across existing and new products.&nbsp;

   Lead, coach, and hold broker partners accountable to sales targets and company objectives; monitor performance and ensure alignment with company values.&nbsp;

   Build and manage customer relationships; lead negotiations to deliver win‑win commercial solutions aligned with customer needs and company goals.

  Professional Qualifications:
 </strong>

   Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in related field
  </li>
  <br/>
  <li>
   3+ years of experience managing a large regional geography in the CPG food space, ideally with East coast customers, brokers and distributors.&nbsp;Relationships with customers a plus.
  </li>
  <br/>
  <li>
   Experience in both large and smaller company environments with proven ability to scale emerging brands rapidly.
  </li>
  <br/>
  <li>
   Experience developing annual revenue and trade plans, forecasting, and using a trade management system.
  </li>
  <br/>
  <li>
   Must be a proactive, data-driven, analytical thinker, and a creative problem-solver.
  </li>
  <br/>
  <li>
   Excellent communication skills with proven ability to influence internal &amp; external stakeholders.
  </li>
  <br/>
  <li>
   Ability to travel for retailer and company meetings, up to 40% of time.
  </li>
  <br/>
  <li>
   Must reside in the Eastern Time Zone, near a major airport.
  </li>
