The Nursing Attendant is an individual who functions in a support role to the Registered Professional Nurse by providing direct patient care and related activities as assigned.</p><b><br>

The Nurse Manager (NM) is responsible for the management of nursing practice and operations on a designated unit/service setting such as inpatient, procedural, emergency department or ambulatory care. This includes, but is not limited to, the management of: clinical nursing practice, staff recruitment, retention, labor relations, supply chain and budget, staffing, employee performance evaluation, quality improvement, staff education, medical records, internal and external regulatory and survey requirements.</p>

Position Overview</b></p><p>
Under the supervision of the Site Medical Director, Nurse Practitioners will deliver comprehensive, compassionate, and thoughtful care to patients with complex chronic diseases within the New York City jail system. This role involves collaboration with physician leadership to provide general primary care, which includes conducting detailed histories and physical exams, diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic illnesses, and assessing the necessity for consultative services. In addition, the Nurse Practitioner will engage as part of an interdisciplinary team, focusing on patients with chronic medical conditions or physical disabilities who do not require acute inpatient admission. This approach ensures a holistic view of patient care and leverages the expertise of diverse healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Responsibilities include: (Detailed Task)</b></p><br>

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses. Evaluate the need for consult services and submit the prioritized consult when indicated.</li><li>
Complete comprehensive histories and physicals on all new admissions including documentation of problem list, diagnosis, orders (e.g. labs, imaging and referrals) and ordering appropriate medications where applicable.</li><li>
Evaluate patients requesting sick call, schedule follow-ups and update medication orders. Update problem lists and reconcile patient orders at all visits.</li><li>
Implement plans for patient care utilizing protocols approved by the Medical Director and/or treatment plans reflecting the current standard of care.</li><li>
Request radiology exams, lab tests, EKGs when clinically indicated and interpret these results based on clinical findings and in consultation with supervisors where appropriate.</li><li>
Review all specialty consults and hospital returns to ensure that the standard of care is met and recommendations of the consultant are implemented.</li><li>
Perform chart reviews and summaries for patients transferring facilities including updating problem lists, rewriting medication orders, and reconciling orders and consults as needed.</li><li>
Generate special needs referrals and documentation as needed (for patients with (disabilities, dietary restrictions, heat sensitivity, or other relevant flags).</li><li>
Teach patients about their medical conditions and treatments; counsel on risks and benefits of different treatment decisions; witness, sign, and document patient refusals of care.</li><li>
Ensure that all progress notes and orders are signed before the end of the shift.</li><li>

Notify the staff MD and Urgicare about 3 hour runs and EMS activation.</li><li>

Job Summary: The Bartender is responsible for mixing, pouring, and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as required by the outlet or banquet event order. This role ensures guest satisfaction while adhering to safety and legal guidelines for beverage service.</div><div></div><div>
Essential Functions and Duties:</div><ul><li><div>
Complete all assigned opening and closing duties.</div></li><li><div>
Mix, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Set up and stock the bar with necessary beverages, glassware, and supplies before each shift or event.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Monitor guest consumption of alcohol and follow established guidelines for responsible beverage service.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing prompt and courteous service.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Process guest payments accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Restock bar supplies and beverages as needed throughout the shift.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Ensure proper handling of cash and credit transactions, following hotel or outlet procedures.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or discrepancies to the Bar Manager.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Follow opening and closing procedures, including cleaning bar equipment and securing stock.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Handle guest inquiries or complaints promptly, ensuring a positive guest experience.</div></li><li><div>
Be able to work along as bartender/server during required shifts.</div></li><li><div>
Serve beverages and food to guests.</div></li><li><div>
Follow all company policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.</div></li><li><div>
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.</div></li><li><div>
Must wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance.</div></li><li><div>

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:</div><ul><li><div>
Previous experience as a bartender or in a food and beverage role is preferred.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately using POS systems.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Strong communication and customer service skills.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Knowledge of alcohol safety regulations, with TIPS certification (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Work Environment:</div><ul><li><div>
Primarily an indoor environment, with frequent standing and walking required during shifts.</div></li><li><div>
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Exposure to bar equipment and cleaning chemicals.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.</div></li></ul><ul><li><div>
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
