Coordinates registration for department related events.</li><li>
Monitors and assigns KACE tickets as requested to ensure projects are assigned and completed in a timely manner.</li><li>
Monitors room request and assists with assigning and booking of all conference rooms. Is responsible for communicating AV and space set up as needed.</li><li>
Provides support for and participates in various internal and external events.</li><li>
Helps to support SP activities, including but not limited to scheduling Sims, PDU sessions, annual meetings and generates invoices.</li><li>
May assist Quality Department with various administrative tasks to include user audits and mortality report audits.</li><li>
Provides administrative support for the organization, including scanning, filing, data collection and entry, creating visual presentations, education materials, and scheduling meetings.</li><li>
Serves as back up to the Organizational Support Associate to include providing front desk coverage, assisting with correspondence, catering, event set up and take down, posting and sorting mail, and restocking supplies in both the kitchen and mailroom.</li><li>

<div></div><div><div>The University of Maryland School of Social Work is seeking a full-time Research Project Coordinator OR Senior Research Project Coordinator to support the Workplace PROSPER program, an interdisciplinary initiative focused on public health, workforce well-being, and harm reduction. This role is responsible for coordinating day-to-day implementation of a Maryland Department of Health&ndash;funded ACCESS grant, including workplace overdose prevention training, naloxone distribution, employer outreach, and operational tracking. The position works closely with faculty, community organizations, employers, and public health partners to support program delivery and ensure compliance with grant requirements. Through these activities, the role advances the School of Social Work&rsquo;s mission to improve community health and promote evidence-based, socially responsive interventions across workplace and community settings. The selected candidate&rsquo;s title will be determined based on their education and experience.

Primary Duties 
Research Project Coordinator<ul><li>
Coordinate day-to-day operational activities for workplace overdose prevention, ACCESS grant implementation, and ORP-related initiatives, including scheduling, outreach, and program logistics.</li><li>
Manage and maintain naloxone inventory systems, including tracking, kit assembly workflows, replenishment, and related documentation.</li><li>
Implement and coordinate training logistics and delivery, including overdose prevention, naloxone administration, workplace mental health, and harm reduction education.</li><li>
Develop and support employer and community partner engagement through outreach, communication, and ongoing worksite relationship management.</li><li>
Conduct worksite visits and follow-up activities to assess readiness, distribute resources, gather feedback, and support implementation.</li><li>
Prepare and maintain operational tracking systems and enter data using Microsoft 365, REDCap, and related platforms to support reporting and compliance.</li><li>
Develop and update workplace resource guides and coordinate with community-based organizations to maintain accurate service information.</li><li>
Assist and support broader Workplace PROSPER initiatives, including recovery-friendly workplace activities, stigma reduction, and workforce well-being projects.</li><li>
Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Senior Research Project Coordinator<ul><li>
Independently manages day-to-day operational activities for workplace overdose prevention, ACCESS grant implementation, and ORP-related initiatives, including scheduling, outreach, and program logistics. Serves as the primary liaison to other departments, outside organizations, government agencies, and product representatives to promote effective and efficient operation and use of resources. Provide guidance and direction to personnel engaged in projects to ensure compliance with protocols and overall objectives.</li><li>
Manage and maintain naloxone inventory systems, including tracking, kit assembly workflows, replenishment, and related documentation.</li><li>
Oversees logistics for training and delivery, including overdose prevention, naloxone administration, workplace mental health, and harm reduction education. all relevant local, federal, and state regulatory and institutional policies.</li><li>
Continuously educates and trains personnel on compliance and protocol. Identifies protocol problems, informs investigators, and assists in problem resolution efforts.</li><li>
Manages research and evaluation activities, including participant recruitment, survey administration, interview scheduling, incentive tracking, and documentation.</li><li>
Oversee the development and support of employer and community partner engagement through outreach, communication, and ongoing worksite relationship management.</li><li>
Oversee worksite visits and follow-up activities to assess readiness, distribute resources, gather feedback, and support implementation.</li><li>
Develops, prepares, enters, and maintains project data in tracking systems (e.g., Microsoft 365, REDCap, Qualtrics), and support data quality checks and reporting processes. Responsible for developing and producing custom and routine reports.</li><li>
Oversees IRB submissions and compliance activities, including preparing study materials, consent documents, modifications, and maintaining regulatory documentation.</li><li>
Develop and update workplace resource guides and coordinate with community-based organizations to maintain accurate service information.</li><li>
Assists in budget development, expenditure adherence, grant applications, and maintenance of inventory on equipment and supplies.</li><li>
Oversee broader Workplace PROSPER initiatives, including recovery-friendly workplace activities, stigma reduction, and workforce well-being projects.</li><li>
Provides training and guidance to less experienced personnel.</li><li>

Research Project Coordinator 
Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related field is required. Master&rsquo;s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Community Health, Behavioral Health, Psychology, or related field is preferred. 
Preferred Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant professional experience in public health, behavioral health, harm reduction, recovery support services, workplace wellness, community outreach, program coordination, or related areas. 
Other: Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 undergraduate college credits being equivalent to one year of related experience. In instances where specific education and/or experience is required only directly related education and/or experience may be substituted. 
Senior Research Project Coordinator

Coordinator Hiring Range: $49,000 - $55,000, commensurate with education and experience. 
Senior Coordinator Hiring Range: $59,000 - $65,000, commensurate with education and experience.
