<li><p>Performs data entry tasks such as, prescription transcription and entry, resolve third party insurance claim issues, contacts providers as appropriate for the pharmacist while maintaining customer / patient confidentiality.</p></li>

Prepares prescription orders in a timely manner; retrieves, counts, measures and prepares medications, solutions, ointments, and other compounds as directed. Ensures all work is checked by a pharmacist.</p></li>

Supports the service needs of the pharmacist relative to pharmacy services and maximized patient care outcomes such as, ensuring the prescription is dispensed to the correct patient at the point-of-sale in a professional and courteous manner</p></li>

Job Summary</b></p>
Under the direction of a staff pharmacist and/or pharmacy leadership team, follow established policies and procedures to perform a variety of routine support tasks that are integral to the operation of the pharmacy department.
