Coordinate and support the routing, execution, storage, access and/or tracking of all legal documents and agreements between CRP and third parties, including sponsors, vendors, and others. Assist attorneys in creation, use, and updating of template and form documents. Serve as administrator for CRP&rsquo;s contract database, including responding to inquiries related to access, submission, use, and tracking and training other users. Triage, manage, and resolve issues arising in the contract negotiation process in close partnership with UNC CRP, UNC Chapel Hill, and UNC Health leadership, often with specific time constraints. Contribute to the development and refinement of CRP&rsquo;s contract negotiation playbook, master agreement templates, and other related legal forms.</p><p></p><p><b>
CRP Policy and Process Development</b>: Collaborate with attorneys to develop and implement policies, processes, procedures, and workflows to achieve efficient, smooth, and consistent negotiation, execution, and administration of clinical trial agreements. Continuously evaluate, assess, and refine contracting processes to improve start-up times for industry-sponsored trials. Contribute to and track start-up metrics and other KPIs for CRP&rsquo;s contracting function. Support the evaluation and use of new technologies for CRP processes, attend technology training sessions, prepare trainings for others, and demonstrate skill in using technology.
</p><p><b>Attorney Administrative Support </b>Organize and maintain corporate files, such as organizational documents, minutes, and resolutions. Under attorney direction, draft correspondence, filings, and legal instruments. Perform research and assist with projects assigned by attorneys. Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, organizing, and routing contracts for execution. Assist attorneys with file maintenance, document management, calendaring, invoice and check processing, and routine communications with internal clients.</p><p></p><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>

<div>The Research Technician position work location is Havelock, North Carolina<br>

Institute for the Environment at UNC-Chapel Hill is looking for a temporary full-time, Research Technician to conduct mist-netting, radio tracking, vegetation survey and acoustic surveys on the northern long-eared bat and tricolored bat at Marine Corps Air Station at Cherry Point. The Research Technician will work on a three-person crew to conduct mist-net surveys for targeted bat species. The position&rsquo;s duties will include conducting mist-net surveys with a permitted bat biologist, conducting telemetry surveys of bats to roost trees and foraging areas, and performing emergence counts. The Research Technician will use acoustics to record and analyzed bat calls and conduct vegetation surveys at roost sites.<br>

Responsibilities Include:<br>
<ul><li>Use global positioning system devices, maps, compass, tablet, digital cameras, telemetry equipment (i.e., receivers and yagis) as well as the ability to maintain equipment.</li><li>Responsibilities include mist-net surveys: Assist bat biologists with setting up mist-net sites, safety handling and processing bat species, record data on a tablet, and follow WNS decontamination protocols.</li><li>In order to handle live bats, a rabies vaccination is required before the start of field season, if not within the last two years, then a titer check will be required.</li><li>Conduct field work while adhering to UNC and MCAS-Cherry Point field safety requirements.</li><li>Participate in safety calls and adhere to safety protocols.</li><li>Technicians will be expected to use good judgment to stay safe and work efficiently.</li><li>Job requires the person filling this position to be able to appear for work on time; working long hours, hiking in adverse conditions with small to moderate loads.</li><li>Assist field supervisors and crew leaders with various tasks (reviewing weather data, datasheets, and completing inventory of field equipment regularly).</li><li>Follow instructions from project managers and field supervisors and crew leaders; interact effectively with coworkers and clients; maintain a positive attitude; and accept guidance and constructive criticism.</li></ul></div>

<ul><li>Applicants must be in good physical shape, as surveys will be conducted in locations where temperatures and conditions can be challenging, difficult, and uncomfortable.</li><li>Field work will entail hiking to mist-net sites with up to 30-50 pounds of field equipment in varying terrain, sometimes in inclement conditions. Mist-net work will be conducted at night.</li><li>Must be able to walk from 10-15 miles a day in a hot humid environment with or without accommodation.</li></ul>

This is a 15-bed unit dedicated to caring for abdominal transplant, urology and plastic surgery patients. Our patient care team delivers highly specialized cutting-edge care. Each year, we perform over 125 kidney, pancreas, and liver transplants. Our transplant program is certified by the American Society of Transplant Surgeons and is one of the most accomplished and devoted transplant teams in the region. We strive to improve clinical outcomes through an interprofessional approach of education, research, and clinical medicine. We are the inpatient home for the nationally ranked UNC Urology partnering with the physicians to deliver individualized care in a coordinated and compassionate manner. In addition to urology and abdominal transplant, our staff cares for high-risk plastic surgery patients requiring reconstructive grafts and surgery related to tissue injuries. These patients have complex wound management needs, which our expert staff manages. Summary:</p><p>
The Clinical Support Technician I is responsible for assisting the professional caregiver in the delivery of patient care, transporting patient and / or equipment, setting up and maintaining patient rooms, and performing a wide range of clerical, transcription, and maintenance of the patient care unit desk area functions. Performs patient care requiring clinical and procedural knowledge and skills requiring the use of sterile techniques, infusion monitoring, and medical equipment. Coordinates the flow of communications on the patient care unit. The Clinical Support Technician II may or may not be given a defined patient care assignment based on unit needs and the discretion of the manager / charge nurse. Tracks supply inventory, orders supplies and special items. Assists unit with clerical and administrative support including PI audits and data entry.</p><p>
