 Leader Bank Pavilion, a seasonal outdoor amphitheater, is seeking a Receptionist for our busy concert, commencement, and event season. This position will begin in March 2025. The Receptionist will assist with administration, office management, and special projects while providing front line guest services to guests attending shows at our busy venue. Receptionists will support guests over the phone, via email, and in person at events.
 
 
 Prior experience working in an entertainment venue required. Prior office experience required.
 
 
 This is a seasonal part time role reporting to the Operations Manager. Hours by week will vary depending on business needs at the time, with approximately 20 &ndash;30 hours per week in March-April and 30-40 hours per week from May to October. The Receptionist pay rate is $20/hour.

Job responsibilities include assisting final-year optometry students and recent alumni with Part 3 boards exam preparation. This includes review and practice of patient encounter cases and clinical skills assistance at the New England College of Optometry 424 Beacon Street Campus. Patient encounter assistance can take place over Zoom, while clinical skills assistance including slit lamp exam, Goldmann applanation tonometry, 4-mirror gonioscopy, dilated biomicroscopy and binocular indirect ophthalmoscopy would take place in person at the Beacon campus.
 
Hours include: variable and somewhat flexible, but will depend upon the clinic schedule of the student(s) being assisted; this is typically weekday evenings and weekends.

The course introduces the current state of regulatory approvals for cell and gene therapies, with a focus on scientific and technical considerations for approval in the United States, Europe, and other key global markets. It explores scientific challenges in the regulatory approval process, differences from traditional biotherapeutic approvals, and evolving pathways emphasizing quality, efficacy, and safety throughout the product lifecycle, from manufacturing to commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
The Part-time Lecturer will review and learn key teaching points within existing materials, prepare and deliver lectures based on provided course content, and facilitate in-person or online class discussions that encourage active learning and respectful debate. They will guide students through case studies and real-world examples in regulatory approval, provide timely feedback, grading, and coaching to support student learning, and maintain consistent engagement with students regarding their performance and progress. In addition, the instructor will adhere to Northeastern University policies and program standards.
Part-time instructors work under the direction of the program director and will hold office hours as appropriate.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. or equivalent graduate degree in a closely related field, with at least five years of work experience in biotechnology, biopharma, or a related industry. Proven presentation and instructional platform skills are required, along with an open and supportive professional style and willingness to receive assistance and coaching from faculty when needed.
