This nonprofit organization grew out of the United Methodist connection in Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. If you are ready to leverage your grant program management expertise for the benefit of faith-based nonprofits, we want to hear from you.</p><p><b>Grant Program Description</b></p><p>Faith Foundation Northwest will issue rebates for the purchase and installation of high-efficiency electric equipment by small nonprofits across the state of Washington. These installations will benefit people who are disproportionately affected by climate change by improving climate control and indoor air quality in spaces where they receive social services. The program will maximize greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions by requiring electric conversions of spaces that currently use fossil fuels for heating and cooling.</p><p>Eligible nonprofits that primarily benefit vulnerable populations, provide services full-time, and benefit a higher number of community members per square foot-- both on a weekly basis and as part of a community&rsquo;s emergency response plan-- will be prioritized. At least 40% of rebates under this program will be awarded to applicants located in a census tract designated 8, 9 or 10 by the Washington Department of Health&rsquo;s and/or located in a census tract identified by the Washington State Office of Financial Management&rsquo;s .</p><p><b>Work Plan</b></p><p><b>Stage 1: Preparation and Promotion, August - October 2026, Executive Director and Program Manager&rsquo;s responsibility. </b></p><p>Executive Director to recruit, hire, and train Program Manager. Technical Advisor will review all bids to verify equipment eligibility before installation begins, and audits of equipment eligibility will be completed by Executive Director at the close of each implementation period.</p><p><b>Stage 4: Reporting, November 2026 - July 2027, Executive Director&rsquo;s responsibility with Program Manager&rsquo;s support. </b></p><p>Recipients submit their first utility bill after installation, along with the bill from one year prior for a like-month to like-month comparison. Reporting due on the 15th of the month following the close of each quarter.
