Landscape Architect/Landscape Restoration Specialist

<div>We are a growing plumbing services company based in West Seattle, serving residential and commercial customers throughout the Seattle region, and we are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to independently manage full-cycle accounting operations and provide leadership with accurate, timely financial insights.
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul><li>Manage full-cycle bookkeeping, including accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R)</li>
<li>Collaborate with a remote Home Office accounting team on:
<ul><li>General ledger maintenance and journal entries</li>
<li>Month-end and year-end close procedures</li>
<li>Accruals, adjustments, and trial balance preparation</li>
<li>Meeting established close deadlines</li>
</ul></li><li>Process payroll for employees, including wage calculations, tax withholdings, direct deposits, and quarterly/annual payroll tax filings</li>
<li>Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet account reconciliations</li>
<li>Work with the Home Office accounting team to prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheet, profit &amp; loss, and management reports</li>
<li>Track fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and inventory</li>
<li>Assist with forecasting and variance analysis</li>
<li>Coordinate with an outsourced firm to file sales tax, B&amp;O returns, and other required compliance filings</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable state and federal regulations; maintain strong internal controls</li>
<li>Maintain organized financial records and support audits as needed</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Qualifications &amp; Requirements</h2>
<ul><li>2+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience (or equivalent accounting role)</li>
<li>Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software (Sage Intacct or similar experience a plus)</li>
<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)</li>
<li>Strong understanding of core accounting principles</li>
<li>Ability to work independently with remote supervision</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines</li>
<li>High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial data</li>
<li>Ability to work in-office in West Seattle (reliable transportation required)</li>
</ul>

Work Environment

This position operates in an office environment and requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time. Frequently operates a computer and other standard office equipment. Occasionally moves items up to 20 pounds.
