Candidates should have a strong dedication to creative and visual storytelling with excellent videography and editing skills. They should also possess the ability to produce daily content from the field independently or with partners, a desire to learn and evolve as new technologies are deployed and assist our MSJs during live shots and on assignments, as needed. 
QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
Photojournalists applying for this position must have non-linear editing experience, knowledge of file-based video transfer, and experience as a News Photographer/Editor. Must have the knowledge and ability to operate live bonded cellular technology (Dejero and LiveU)</li><li>
ENG and SNG live truck experience is a plus.</li><li>
Calls for excellent communication and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Must have minimum of 5 years&rsquo; experience in a medium to large television market</li></ul> 
REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
Candidates will be responsible for maintaining assigned equipment, including news vehicles, cameras, lights, laptop editors, and associated gear, initiating repairs when necessary.</li><li>
Must physically be able to carry, shoulder, and shoot with a broadcast ENG camera (25-35lbs), as well as carry support equipment (tripod, lights, microphones, etc.)</li><li>

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 
Hiring Salary Range: $75,000 - $80,000. 
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. LionStar Films is a video production house based in Atlanta, Georgia, that works with high-end corporate clients as well as marketing and advertising agencies. We are dedicated to providing the most dynamic and powerful content for our clients. Production services include all Production to Post-Production and everything in between.
This particular project we are hiring for is for edit positions only, also looking for motion graphic artists.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"> 
Job Description</h2>
We are looking for 20 freelance video editors and 5 motion graphics artists to help out with a quick turn video project where we need to edit 20 short &ldquo;comedic spoof&rdquo; videos for a corporate client. Editors will be given storyboards and raw UG footage for a :90 second video that needs to be turned around overnight and will be under the supervision of a Post Production Supervisor.
The ideal candidate has some professional experience (1-5 years) and strong technical and creative skills and is proficient in Premiere and/or After Effects. He or she must be highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work under a tight deadline.
We will be set up in one of the meeting rooms at the Atlas Hotel (across from Harvard Business School) in Boston, Massachusetts. Parking will be reimbursed if used, applicants must be able to provide their own transportation.
This project will take place over 3 evenings of March 17th ,24th and 26th. Pay rate is $600 per session.
We will be starting at 7pm and will go until you are done with your individual video. Based on previous projects that were very similar, we anticipate each video should take around 6 hours to complete, so please be prepared to stay late if needed.
Each editor will be working with different footage that the client will shoot that same day. Objective is to edit their footage using the clients individual vision into a short story that will be no longer than 2 minutes. Videos will need to be edited quickly so that they can be shown during an awards ceremony the next morning. This will be fast paced and requires a very quick turnaround so please only apply if you are very comfortable editing quickly and on your own.
Applicant must provide a current demo reel showing your current work to be considered. Edit stations will be provided with Premiere loaded and ready to go.
RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB SUMMARY
 
The Director of Advancement Communications provides vision, leadership, and strategic direction for all fundraising and Alumnae/i Relations ("Advancement") communications. The Director oversees editorial strategy and content development across all Advancement marketing channels, including but not limited to websites, email marketing, publications, and social media.
 
Reporting to the Senior Director of Alumnae/i and Volunteer Engagement, the Director works strategically across the Advancement division and collaborates closely with University Marketing Communications and other campus partners. The role advances fundraising and alumnae/i engagement through compelling, audience-centered communications and ensures that all messaging aligns with Advancement priorities and the University's brand and editorial standards. This position also directly supports Advancement's revenue-generating efforts by leading the development of messaging and materials for major, principal, and transformational gifts; creating multi-platform content related to campaign and fundraising priorities; serving as senior editor for non-marketing Advancement communications; and managing complex communications projects as assigned.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
Set and lead the overall Advancement content and communications strategy in partnership with Advancement leadership, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities, fundraising goals, and campaign objectives.
 
Develop and oversee integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns by generating new content and strategically repurposing existing assets across platforms.
 
Build and sustain strong relationships with Advancement colleagues, University Marketing Communications, Donor Relations and Stewardship, and campus partners, positioning Advancement Communications as a trusted strategic advisor.

Establish and enforce editorial standards, ensuring consistency with Advancement messaging and compliance with the University's editorial style guide.
 
Implement and manage a rigorous review and proofreading process to ensure accuracy, quality, and readiness of all communications prior to publication.
 
Manage complex communications projects and perform other duties as assigned in support of Advancement and institutional goals.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
 
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field required.
