<p><b><i>As a Medical Office Assistant for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians, you'll:</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide excellent customer service to our patients at JHCP.</li>
<li>Receive incoming and make outbound telephone calls to schedule appointments, process patient medication refills, process referrals, and take messages for the providers.</li>
<li>Check patients in and out, collect copays, and respond to patient messages.</li>
<li>Verify insurance and collect demographics.</li>
</ul>
<p><b><i>What You'll Need to be Successful:</i></b></p>
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or GED required.</li>
<li>2+ years experience in healthcare or customer service preferred.
<ul><li>EPIC experience is very helpful!</li>
</ul></li><li>Ability to successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes, but not limited to: Electronic medical record training, Insurance training-foundations, government and commercial.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Salary Range:</b> Minimum 17.37/hour - Maximum 28.68/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.</p>
